You make a very good point with fatigue. I went to my first regionals a while ago and that was something I wish I took into account into deciding what deck to bring.
Very nice, I've seen you try and build your channel and its hard to argue with excellent results considering your channel is relatively small. I am very fond of Crossout Designator. It has taken 2+ years to catch on in the TCG because there is no Maxx "C" here. If someone Ashed or Impermed your Berformet and you responded with Crossout, you probably won that game. Like many I was playing Aluber's and Branded Openings when the deck just came out, the Pot of Prosperity makes a lot of sense. Would love to see what you can do with Scareclaw as of recent, but this is admittedly a significantly more powerful deck. Congrats of your results. Edit: Such a well thought out Side Deck.. wow!
I'm glad you won with chimera. But honestly, I'm that type of casual player who likes a little more personal touch with my decks. Fenrir. Prosperity. Bystials. Not so personal to me. But good job. I think the fusion deployment build is what I'd go with.

Personally I woulda ran a Veiler over 1 of the Nibirus just for a little more crossout coverage, as well as to potentially make Incandescent Albion which I'm experimenting with right now. The list definitely feels pretty solid otherwise, I don't run Talent just because it doesn't always feel like it helps enough, or if not handtrapped you basically are down a card instantly, but it definitely can be very good so I don't blame you for running it. Out of curiosity, how did the Nibirus do for you? Since I didn't hear you talk about it that much tbh. And why did you choose to not run Super Poly?
Nibiru was excellent and kept me in several games. Nobody ever veilered me so I didn't miss it for crossout, plus book of eclipse dodges veilers/imperms for me anyway so I had some way to play around it.
I really like your chimera gameplay but I noticed you didn't play against unchained. Were you ready for that match up? And if so how? I'm having a lot of trouble in the matchup. There deck tends to benefit from us.

Congrats! I really like the thought process on a lot of the build. Been playing a really similar list for the past month and have had a ton of success at the local level + a PS5 tournament that I got third at. Couldn't make it out to this because of a wedding though sadly. What were the cards you normally sent off of prosperity and did you feel like you ever missed anything that you sent off it? I've mulled the idea of putting it in, but I haven't had the chance to do proper testing with it.

I didnt think people would be playing droll in the main so I didnt bother maining one for crossout. Playing one in the side is up to you for the crossout target but that's up to you
You should give chimera plunder a try its actually really good. Id play it yhis weekend at locals but im missing the 3 of each super rare main deck monsters for chimera
Congratulations on the win from two weeks ago lol. I am currently a newer Yugioh player that has recently began going to locals with branded chimera. I really appreciate how in-depth you went about the reasons for choosing specific side cards. It really helped me get a better understanding of what should be included in a side deck, and the side decks importance. I am currently trying to learn everything that I can in order to get better to be able to start taking some games off of the people I play against at my locals. I hope you don’t mind if i ask some questions because I would love to hear from a great yugioh player that is also playing the same deck as me. When you do put in side cards, what cards do you usually take out? I am assuming it is dependent on the matchup, but are there any cards that you always will take out? There are many different variations of branded chimera out currently and I am trying to find the one I like the best. Is there anything that you think this deck lacks, is bad at or is weak against that you specifically try to compensate for with your variation of non-engine card selections? Do you think running light-hex and dragoon is a viable option? Or is dragoon not strong enough due to not being able to use the burn effect, and many decks having ways to out dragoon? Do you think D.D crow would be a good addition to the side deck? Or are there cards already in the deck/side that can accomplish the same goal as crow? A big thing I am currently messing up is understanding where to interrupt my opponents during their combo. I know i need to learn how to actually play the decks I go against in order to truly understand where to properly interrupt, but is there any sort of “universal effect” where if i see a variation of that effect I should immediately try to interrupt it? I’m really sorry for all the questions and I really hope you don’t mind them.
Start by watching the side deck pattern video i put out shortly after this one. I think this version is the best because of how flexible it is with the nonengine. Side deck is flexible too. Learning where to interrupt just comes with practice against these decks, but usually any effects that summon another monster is a safe bet to negate
bystials were great when they were relevant but based on the matchups i saw yesterday they only came in for dragon link and tear. but they were great in those as can be expected
I dont own thrusts but If i did i'm not sure if i'd play them in this particular deck, i'd have to think about it. Like if you get ashed on swordnight going first, thrust can only set you an imperm. And if you get ashed going second, thrust wont be able to search you anything to push through since your main play is already stopped.
imo Thrust is overrated, I have 2 but no deck I've ever played I've ever wanted to run Thrust, over just running the cards it could search, or easier ways to get to those cards than relying on the opponent.
Yeah, I was there X-2-2, but I couldn't stand my judges. Apparently, pot a prosperity lets you draw, not add to hand 😂🎉 I don't think I'll ever attend that regional again, not with judge calls like that.
Imo, frightfur doesnt really help you going first endboard nor is it great at breaking boards. You might get into guardian chimera more frequently but its not worth the risk of bricking from the package clogging your hand when you dont want it to

Either a third Druiswurm if you expect a lot of unchained, since druiswurm is very good against them, or just a baldrake will do since you can tribute off your berfomet or guardian chimera for an additional interruption. Can also play any other handtrap like phantazmay, droll, or a pankratops or something if you like.

Did I hear that right? You played 8 rounds in a 45 participant tournament? They did do top 8 single Elim then? Mathematically for Swiss a 45 participant tourney should be 5-6 rounds. When I played in regionals in 2009, socal was always 300+. Still a fantastic win! Congratulations! I mainly made the first comment to understand logistics and to understand other regions experience.
