◼I would give way higher Score for the deck in a future update, because this deck it's much better than I tough. Minimun 8 would be more acurate imo considering how consistent and that the recovery it's better than I though at the beginning. ◼Condolence Puppet is INSANE🔥 It's most of the time a FREE protection anti Effect response and Target going second and going first another starter/extender. By far one of my favorite cards of the deck. ◼FTK combo without MANSION (ru-vid.comV_OH7nD5q6I?si=6wpu3BxDS6dAgkrc) ◼ Considering that you can use up to 15+ flex spot and FTK with 1 card or two I would say that the FTK it's viable. Looks like a very competent strategy for nowadays. ◼BTW I decide to take out Leo/Leo evolution to add Dingirsu and a second copy of Dark Strings.
As intended, the deck always wanted to go second to blow up the opponent's board and burn them down to OTK Range. Honestly this and Tenpai's field spells are probably the new standard for Going 2nd Decks, make boards that have next to no interaction with the opponent on their turn but can basically tank whatever gets thrown at them. Imagine if War Rock had one of those Field Spells, that made them unaffected by everything outside of battle. Only to let you basically treat either Battle Phase as your Main Phase.
@@streetgamer3452 never said it was the main focus, but this isn't the first time Konami has focused on one aspect of an archetype when giving it support (ex. Gustos). At least just be happy the deck is playable what would you have even wanted? Just better disruption set up? That's boring when we already have many decks that do a superb job at that. Also I think they have more burn cards than disruption cards in their archetype excluding the new support. So it makes sense that's what they chose to emphasize.

I cannot believe I am seeing the day where I'm watching Gimmick Puppet replays and thinking that "Yeah, this deck actually stands a chance in the Metagame as either a full meta contender or a very prevalent rogue strategy" but here we are I guess. I guess its true sometimes. some archetypes, for better or for worse, really are just one wave away from being a menace
I do love how Gimmick Puppets still have no negates. They just went all in on the crazy protection. Terror Baby and Bisque Doll GY effects were foreshadowing all along.
Gimmick Puppets have been my pet bad deck since 2013 because of their artstyle. I never imagined them getting such a good wave of support. So excited to try them out

I don't think that Gimmick Puppet's attribute is light (corner bottom left), but I really love their design and cards, and effects, and concept, Idk, I love everything of it
Drytron having a 1 card combo feels weird. The combo I found is : • Activate Nova, summon Nu2. • Activate Nu2, add Zeta. • Tribute Nu2 to summon Zeta and add Meteonis. • Summon Nu2 from GY. • Summon Mu Beta with Zeta and Nu2. • Activate Mu Beta to foolish DAD. • Activate Meteonis to summon DAD by tributing the whole Mu Beta.
I have to say, the support they made is amazing The new support does 4 things which make Gimmicks more fun to play 1. They give you access to the rank 8’s much quicker with 1 card combo’s 2. They allow you some creativity with which Gimmicks you want to create, meaning you are not always locked into burn (though it’s the most efficient) 3. Provides protection to keep your slower Gimmick monsters on the field and even grant some fun counter play with the Service doll trap. 4. Makes the theme of Gimmick Puppets puppeteering the match more prominent with Service doll and Fansix.

@@neon-neku You have a point. The whole reason this ftk goes through is because of the field spell which the field spell literally translates to you can't do anything when I come onto the field
Gimmick puppet is the deck that got me back to Ygo after a long break, I am so happy to see it receive support, but on the other hand, I am sad we made it a 1 card ftk machine, cuz that means it will probably get hit on the banlist one way or another if the deck ends up being really popular
I used to love the deck, but I hate everything that is FTK. I mean snake-eye is very powerful, but at least I can compete with them, but you want to say that FTK is immune to targeting or response.
I will forever love Gimmick as one of my top 3 favorite decks. Zefra, Samurai, Gimmick. Each with unique card arts and playstyles that never get old to me. Im so happy for this new support, but damn that 1 card ftk might be too strong for some people and its guna be complained about a lot by the idiots that cant play handtraps. I hope the deck doesnt get hit but if it does, Im assuming itll be the new XYZ's so you stop making them multiple times for the ftk, mainly the new Cxyz
I mean, to be honest, i completely understand them, and it isn't like they have no handtraps, it's more that Handtraps are 100% useless once the field hits the field, the field spell protection is Absurd and i can see the why of the complains about it.
How good overall you think it is ? Can it be rogue tier ? The deck on paper looks very flashy with the FTK and the go 2nd shenanigan i think it's very cool but seeing you only gave 7.5 maybe it's too gimmicky ?
I loath FTK decks, but this one I love , it's an anime deck, focuses on numbers, uses mostly archetype cards and it's gimmick puppets !! Which perfectly aligns with Quattro's personality XD. I can't wait to duel this in TCG

Eclipse it's just not worth it because conflicts with Wyvern. In the video I was just testing different techs during replays, so if there's some cards not included in the video it's because I drop them like in the case of Eclipse. I think the deck will not change too much but maybe a version with the new LV5 even we known it's kinda eh.
@@ExordiodelDuelista It is kind of iffy. But a 1 of should be fine since you can summon it while ignoring its summoning conditions if you have the chance. If AGs had another card with additional normal summoning, that be perfect.

so uuuhhhhh... not only can this deck do the FTK without the field spell, they can also finally pull off their Leo Win-Con on turn 1 now. Granted, both of these require 2 or so cards, and the Leo win-con needs the field spell, but I think that goes to show how insane this support is for gimmick puppets.
ok i like Gimmick Puppets but what the hell. that first duel was insane. Gimmick Puppets are way too strong. no deck should be this powerful. makes the game boring if it is.
yeah kind off. In this current meta, having a lot of free space for non engine is the most optimal. It's a lot better to just play the ]minimal amount of gimmick puppets that still allow you to play the deck rather than just filling up with more gimmick puppets. The deck already has so many new multiple starters and extenders to where it would kind of be a waste to add more copies bisque or dreary doll if you can instead have more handtraps, board breakers or the pot cards if you wanted more consistency.

Welp… this is probably gonna be meta with how consistent the ftk is… at least this deck stayed somewhat in theme unlike SHS striaght up abandoning its theme to be good
