Just built my wife a sound system from a bunch of new-old-stock; glad to hear we are not the only fans of vintage audio

The Heartbeat of America!! Ohhh man, does this one really hit home for me.. So I graduated from high school in 95’ with exactly two dreams: 1) own a badass 1996 Impala SS.. 2) own a “Truckin” magazine quality truck exactly like this one.. Well, so far I’ve had success in achieving the first one, complete with the Orion 15” DVC sub in a custom designed and built by yours truly, 4th order bandpass box, as well as the complementary 2500w Orion 1/2ohm capable amp! That car is the love of my life, and I’m still in the process of adding improvements to it, you know, complete suspension and all that good stuff. However, to this very day, I still dream of owning a pristine 90’s Sport Truck exactly like this fine example, which I think I might actually still have the magazine issue that this truck was in.. hopefully my mom hasn’t trashed all of my old mags yet, I need to go look.. Oh, and also on that dream list of mine; the Chevy Typhoon, and of course the iconic turbo Buick Regal..

I had a few low riders in the mid/late 90s. My last one was a dbl cab Ford ranger splash 3L 5 speed with borlla side exhaust, air bags, walled in 12" jl audio subs with extant amps, mb quartz mid/highs, purple neon lights in undercarriage, etc. I loved that thing! Living in south FL it was a perfect place to have one. Eventually life brought on more challenges and I sold it. Went to an Eddie Bauer explorer that was practical but I still miss that truck to this day!

I absolutely love this truck. I inquired about buying it but purchased something more local. I regret not pulling the trigger.

I had a '90 model C-1500 Choo Customs. Same color as Eddie Van Halen's. Massaged 350, Duel exhaust, Rancho Suspension, larger front and rear anti roll bars, 2"-3" drop. It handled like Vette. I'd read a lot of Sport Truck magazines. Great times.

I'm not a car person. I love listening to people when they get to talking about something they are passionate about. That sounds amazing. Would love to see it even even I don't understand the reason it's impressive.

I was lucky enough to inherit a mint 93 longbed, garage kept for 20 years. Between me and my dad we put more miles on it in the last 5 years but still at 118k. My 87 blazer is going to be in the old mini truck style. It's already lowered, Purple velvet interior, 10 inch wide 3 spoke prime wheels, 2 Memphis dual voice coil 12 inch subs, need to paint and do something with the tired old 4.3, but I love anything in that 90s style.

Now I want to see the radio in this thing!

We actually have a bit of a weirdy at our shop. 95 GMC Sierra 3500 with a 350, juuusssstt rolled over to 55k on the odometer. Since it was bought it's been out of the county or shop is in 3 times

Truck was actually from van nuys California I grew up around the corner from this truck littery drool over it on the way to school I seen it a few time at the raphls around the corner but mostly saw it when it was in the driveway super cool 90s build
