I can’t believe Bill how you find all these people. I really like it, they are doing a great job in this trailer. I like the couch to set on where the TV is and how they can put up everything to use as a toy hauler. And I like the nice bathroom 👍🏻👍🏻
Its really nice but my only concern would be sleeping where the 4 wheelers are hauled. It would smell like gas and oil where your bed and couch are at.
Another great build with a couple of great people. He seems like a wealth of knowledge and the right friends with the Knowledge to have an amazing setup.
what an amazing build. I am in a very beginning stages of my journey. I have subscribed to both you and will follow. Thanks for the great content. PS: the whole electrical system configuration is incredible, you ought to be proud of yourself‼️
I have been watching for about 2 to 3 weeks now. I have an older 24’ enclosed. I have some adjustments to it by using a camper that is bad. Use both doors. Have actual man camper door entrance on side and put a wall up with a door for 16’ living in front and 9’ garage in back. Going full time live out of and just got enclosed on April 25, 2024. Lots of great ideas.
Amazing work and love your setup. I’ve been researching and designing my trailer set up for a couple years now and love yours. I have another year or two before I get started as want done for when wife retires. We have a 35 ft park model that stays in a park. I was amazed and blown away by the amount of battery storage you said you have. I backed the video up 3 times to make sure I heard correctly and read every comment and response. I am curious about the battery storage as I heard you say 10000 amp hours storage. I think that is amazing and you would be able to run for few days without anything else. Just a bit of information on the solar setup and the power distribution system would be helpful and amazing. Thanks for your help and advice. You did a amazing job and could easily build and sell this unit very easily. Great job. Thanks again John and Cathy Stockdale Niagara Falls area Ontario Canada
Great job, good woodworking skills. I’m impressed with everything. I am a bit challenged at a lot of that. Specially the electrical work but I’m impressed with your final product. It’s it’s an unbelievable finished job.
Great build. I do like the fact that there is a washer in there, as I cannot go anywhere near laundromats due to extreme sensitivity to fragrances. For me the only down side is the lack of natural light, and not having enough views, but I would feel a bit claustrophobic in there. We currently have a Trillium 5500, which has windows all around a fantastic cross-ventilation, so I have would have very high expectations in that respect, if we ever did a trailer conversion.
Hello May I get you solar set up info/specs. It’s hard to find video of a large set up like yours and I would love the same set up as you have. Thank you kindly 😊V
This is amazing,,,,I have NO IDEA on this electric and solar thing. I have a 20 ft an this has great ideas for me,,,,BUT like I said no idea on the electric solar stuff. I’m watching but my brain is lost..lolol. But love this set up.
Oh Now After seeing Marvin’s Build Your New Trailer Bill and Deb also this Build My Trailer Build will Be Fun . I am in the Designing Stages while dealing With Medical Issues
How much did the whole electrical setup come to after installation? I love how well thought out everything is but the electricals blew me away. It’s exactly what I want with my build so if you know anything about there process and costs that would be amazing. Great job yall!
I wanted to buy bigger then a all Aluminum 7 x14, but the thought of Pulling a Parking it made me think smaller, its just enough to sleep and get out of the weather when needed, I pull it with a F150 Crew Cab so we have the extra room in the back of the truck for more storage and extras
I Like it - I plan on an All in One Inverter like that - Transfer switch, solar charger controller, ac battery charger and inverter. What batteries are those and how many?
@@lotusguy01 what do you do for low temp charging protection as those batteries do not have it - being in Florida are you not worried about it or have you added battery heaters or other ? Just curious.
@@tedjones112 I don’t worry about it given we only travel in warm climates. If we are somewhere where it gets below freezing it will be warm in the camper where the batteries are.
@@billanddeb @billanddeb Mine was originally meant to be a riding lawnmower shed/weekend cabin for my uncle. But I don't think anyone ever actually put a lawnmower in it. His plans changed just after all the outside work was finished. It's a 12' x 20', so I get a lot of really useful ideas watching your videos.
@"I Ride" Tiny House Adventures That's a topic we should talk about. Weight distribution, GVWR , Axle weights and Capacity. I know you've mentioned it but the king of cargo conversions could enlighten some. I know my last trip to gulf Shores we changed our setup from sleeping in the truck to sleeping in the Trailer and with the bed move we had to use 5 gallon water jugs to get the weight right.
Gorgeous! Exceptional Build! I am so very impressed with the forethought and ingenuity that each and every walkthrough shares. Ours is much smaller (14' w/ 2' v-nose) but this is what I would do if we were going to go larger. I don't know much about power systems and solar, but automatic everything sounds like the way to go. Is the awning a regular RV awning? Still considering options there and this looked very nice.
So I live tampa area too. I have 8.5x24ft but mine is 8’ inside height so 1.5ft taller. Wondering if the 12000 btu is enough or if I need 18000. I did insulate walls with 1” and ceiling with 2”. But in 90 plus degree days with no shade I couldn’t cool it with 2 portable units. Figure mini split will cool better but need something that can cool it through the hottest days. Mine is all open inside so no rooms. Thoughts?
Our trailer is 8.5×20×7.5 so, we're 4 ft shorter in length and only 6 inches shorter in height. We have a 12,000 BTU Senville Mini Split. We spent our first summer in NW Arkansas, where temps easily reach the mid 90s and above and 80 to 90% humidity. We periodically gave tours of our conversion on some of the hottest days, and on several occasions, our guests "complained" because it was "too cold" for them inside. We also have friends with an 8.5×24 who have a 9,000 BTU Mini Split and have zero problems staying cool (they are Florida residents). I really think the 12,000 BTU will work fine. In addition, I'm not certain an 18,000 BTU unit is available in a 120 volt version. Seems to me that when I was researching them, all 18,000 BTU versions were only available in 240 volt versions.
@@billanddeb awesome info. I run my trailer on a 4500 watt inverter generator and have a 50 amp breaker panel in there so running 220 shouldn’t be an issue. They don’t pull a bunch of starting wattage and my electrician said he could hook up a 220 unit to my box fine. I’m not super knowledgeable about electric but yeah if 12k btu can keep it 70 on 95 degree day with zero shade then that is great. I don’t care if it’s 110 or 220. My generator is big enough. For some reason it won’t run both my portable units unless they start at same time. If one running and other kicks on it goes into protection. I think one of them is pulling too much but rather go mini split than spend any money elsewhere. When both start same time and run I’m at 25% of the generators capacity. One is 14k unit and one is 10k unit. But they won’t keep it cold on sunny day with no shade.
I love the "peal and stick" backsplash and blue cabinets!! Great bathroom. Do you only use paper plates and not wash anything in the sink other than coffee cups? It's smaller than most bathroom or Bar sinks. I bet $10 you change the sink. Great solar set up too!
