For those of you that are wondering if he can really walk up walls....He said it himself in the episode that "hes not spider man and cant realy walk up the Luxor" but he "had to find a way to perform the illusion" so he can walk up it and make it look real. He never claims that he is supernatural nor has powers, he is just phenomenal at his art. Plain and simple...and balls of steel to do what he does.
The cane is used because the instability is not up and down, but side to side. And something is holding/pulling him forward, because you can't stand at that angle and not fall backwards. Of course, the illusion is his moving forward.
Criss angel did this in honor of his father The reason he can do this is that he is one of the few people in the world that has unlocked the 80% of the brain that we normally don't use he in a way has phycokenisis
@Gordaton Yeah the cane is to add effect ,criss has a team that he works with to create these illusions but all his illusions that he comes up with are his ideas. All in all I would say he is the best illusionist and I won't want to know how it's done ,the is an art form in entertainment.
Its has a rope and definitely not coming from helicopter. He is attached to a rope in his waist in front of him. The rope pivots on the pulley at the top of the building. It is pulled on the opposite side of the building. The cane helps Chris balance his position... The audience near to him are paid those audience far from him are real as the cannot see the rope.
@CrissAngelDemystfyer it looks very cool if you watch it for the first time and just open your mind and not look for mistakes, which is what an illusion is. if you look so closely of course you will eventually see flaws, but thats beating the point of an illusion.
@CrissAngelDemystfyer from what i heard it was done in real life. for one someone in vegas told me he saw it, and also since its a tourist destination there would be tons of flame from people all over the world saying it was bullshit
@SkyexPilot he obviously didnt walk up the luxor cause there is no such thing as magic, but his illusions are pretty accurate in terms of staging it very well.
Sometimes when i watch Criss Angel it reminds me of watching the WWF. I know it's not real and it's all an illusion but it's extremely lame at the same time. I'm more impressed by his mechanical contraptions that allow him to float, climb etc than the illusion itself. I just wish his tricks were harder to work out. Maybe he needs better actors or something. I love the line about how it was too hot to do during the day. Didn't see that excuse coming so they could do it at night did we?
does anyone else think that they wanted it to be at night in the first place and looked for a believable excuse (the glass of the luxor is too hot in the morning) not to do it in the morning because the illusion would fail in the daylight?
Even though there's always a trick with magicians. How did he float over the light? The light is way too hot for a human body to handle and he floated there for quite some time.
@skater22ph haha you havent been to vegas. i got back just 2 days ago and thats how i learnt why he had to do it at night. during the day the glass heats to an extremely high temperature. also cloudy days are very seldom as it is in a desert

No One there was paid whatsoever.We signed up to come at our own free will.Because we are huge ass fans! I did not get a chance to take a photo with him,because If you were watching he goes into the luxor's window!! And never came down,it was 5 o clock in the morning,he was tired,from filming this ILLUSION and doing two shows a nite.
@IAmTheeHero no lol i know how hot it gets in vegas. i know that he could simply not walk on the luxor in the morning due to the heat. im just wondering if he made it seem as though he wanted it to be in the morning but realized it was too hot so he could perform the illusion when he really wanted to do it (at night)

Nine of us total.And a group of people crowded around later that nite...And Youd be great friends with them too beacause alot of them sat there trying to figure out how he was doing it.

Unfortunately, it also provides a forum for a bunch of foul mouth little creeps who hide behind their anonymity while they spew their verbal garbage. Your comments say a lot more about you than they do about Criss Angel. He is an entertainer, an illusionist. He plainly stated that there is no such thing as magic. If you don't like him, go watch something else.
He's an incredible illusionist. That being said, it has to be completely fake. Blame it on whatever mechanism you want, you can't defy the good ol' laws of physics. I'd almost believe it's a movement of incredible balance or whatever, but I believe the audience is in on it, because with this and all his other things, there are no crappy self-shot cell phone videos from the audience. And you're kidding if you think out of all his following not one person video taped it.

@themindfreakmagic13 You know, I actually got an email for this comment while I was at the Luxor. I looked outside, and not all of Las Vegas Boulevard can see it. Actually, it's almost conveniently placed to be almost invisible if you're not looking at it from far away. The Excalibur is in the way, and there's not that much room for onlookers. ok first off theres no cables ik this bkus well i have watched this video over 20 times and paeued it ever single second and no cable or wire and the place is glass so no magnet theres one of two explinations he is either the anti crhist (highly douptable) or he is just contoling the supernatrule this has been done and proven by people before so yea and unless theres a green cord like green screen ) there no wire or cord ok so face it ur mad bkus u cnt do this or dnt have the balls to try
