You are really bringing back some memories for me because I spent many, many weekends on that beach. Never saw it as deserted looking though. Where are all the people? Well at least the ocean is still the same color…the blue thing. Have you been stung by a jellyfish yet? Pain! I think I need to visit again…but maybe after the hurricane.

Fun little mini vacation!! So happy for you!! Splurge once in a while and treat yourself to a fine dining experience! It is fun, and you have a better chance of getting food you like!! I was a single parent when my children were growing up, and I took them out to a nice restaurant once a month!! They loved it!! Just be good to you!! Wow! The sand from Clearwater, Florida comes from the Appalachian Mountains and is made of quartz rather than sea shells. So fascinating!
Oh how I love Clearwater! My aunt lived in Tampa and would always take us there when we visited❤️ The west coast and panhandle of Florida have the most beautiful beaches SO happy to see you enjoyed your visit to the beach with your friend or boyfriend?❤
You’re in my old stomping grounds! We moved to Clearwater in 1979… you should have seen it then!! And it’s not the ocean Jeffery… it’s the Gulf of Mexico 😉. Not sure if it’s still there but if the Post Corner Pizza is still there… it’s a must go!! Best Greek salads ever!!! Well besides at Tarpon Springs which is another day trip you should do ☺️ If you go to the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa let me know so I can hook you up with my son… no not like that lol… he’s a manager there and he would take good care of you and whomever you have with you… 😎
When I first moved to FL I lived 2 blocks from the beach. It was crazy crowded during the day so Id walk down in the evening & do a barefoot walk up the beach to the pier & back, which equaled about a mile. Not many people then, just the water & the seagulls, it was so relaxing. Now Ive lived only 3 miles from the beach for over 30 years (can that be right? Yup, sure is) & cant tell you the last time I was there. Things sure do change.

We lived in Tampa years ago n went to Clearwater Beach every weekend but we went further down the Bay to a picnic table spot. Many good childhood memories. Swam with porpoises once when tide was out, stung by a jellyfish another time when i was 11. The area has really been developed since i lived there but still beautiful
Wonderful vacation! Swimming and eating! 🌴🌴🌴🍰🍧🌮☕🌞 Love it. I like the gulf side better than the ocean with all it's stinky seaweed, sharks 🦈and stinging jellyfish. Went to Clearwater maybe 5 years ago and saw Emo Phillips but not the beach unfortunately. Hoping that storm veers away from central Florida. Got my batteries and other supplies. Shopping while there is no tax this week. woohoo🌀🌩🌪
Clearwater Beach has changed so so very much!!! There was not hotels along the beach side when I was there. The beach was just that...a beach. No one had the big umbrellas and lil tent things. People will think of anything to get money. The only thing there when I was there was the pier and one could walk way out on that. Thanks for the tour, Jeffery, it was fun!! Clearwater, Florida is my favorite place. I’ve been in Florida my absolute favorite. In fact, if I could afford to retire that’s where I would move and retire. I absolutely love the cute little downtown with the brick streets with the stores that you can stop and have a drink or just relax and it’s such a friendly town. Everybody is friendly there. I went for Pina Colada snowball and Pit beef last week. Got some Auntie Anniessoft pretzel bites , frozen Mango lemonade , walmart slice cheescake and carrot cake this week!!!
