The machine you were showing while describing the Janome 500e was actually the 550e. The 500e has black trim and doesn’t have the same designs as you video showed.

I really fancied the Singer machine but have been warned away from it due to Singer's unreliability. Is this so? I am replacing my Janome Memorycraft 8000CE which has now packed up after giving good service since 1998. This Singer is the nearest in Spec and I really thought it would make a perfect replacement.
