Another 8BBC bit I love is when they read the Bioshock book and the first half is all about the logistics about how Rapture was built under the ocean and they shit on how boring it is, then later in the episode Caldwell confesses he really liked all the boring shit and they razz him hard about being a coward lol “You are no man! A slave listens to people talk shit about the first quarter of Rapture”
it isnt the funniest in terms of like gut-buster laugh out loud, but caldwell desperately telling emily that she's gaslighting herself in brownie gate is a moment that i think about frequently even after all this time. between this, akarot's vest and the hemp milk song, emily making absolutely insane assertions is one of favorite things that happens in this group.

Omg I knew Akarot sounded familiar. I now realize there's a full lore in diablo about Akarat and Akarat's champions. There's even a set named after it and Murph was being a saucy little goblin.
I love that Emily made terrible, gluten free brownies (notorious for being dry), did not like them and then made a sweeping judgement that ALL brownies are bad 😂
It occurs to me that if Brian had just done what the characters in Animorphs did started off by giving a fake name instead of his real one, he would've have been spared at least some of the grief he was given.
kinda doubt it will be in this collection but my weird personal favorite bits are Emily making Caldwell explain why Sonic would be horny just cuz he has spines Murph and Emily describing how Sonic kills the karate guy in the computer ("then he sees it's not a man, but a woman. and she was pregnant. the baby. um. spits out her butt.")
@@smallone2351 they missed 8 bit book club, it now lives as mixed bag or whatever patreon exclusivd they have. At some point, 8-bit book club stopped just reviewing books based on games and just reviewed general media, from wikis to movies. They do that sometimes on patreon now.
