I don't think I've ever been more excited about anything else coming out than this.

This is breathtaking work. I really have no other descriptor for it. I almost feel like I appreciate this entire piece more when I can hear every little harmony and line from the same “instrument”, the entire structure is so much more audible this way! It really illustrates how older video game music relied heavily on classical music structure, because it sounds so similar to NES dungeon crawler music at times.

Stravinsky's writing in comparison to its time still baffles me. How could this be in convention of its time? Was its convention wild af?
