Love how you said about trust as a focus. I would love a video about dealing with very difficult conversations e.g. C-suite member discrediting or distrusting a new Chief Audit Executive who would be auditing that member's processes, or navigating politics among C-suite, C-suite putting you under undue pressure etc. Am sure you have lots of good examples from your career. Love to hear! and thank you!

As a SIL member, I've worked on my communication toolset to ensure I'm stoking more convos than I'm killing. Having just recently participated in a high-stakes, crucial convo that I had little control over, I'm sitting with the observation that I am a fight kinda gal. When I feel psychologically unsafe, unheard, and unappreciated, I go into fight or flight mode and I fight. And then the convo feels awful for me and I feel I've lost. So I'm sitting with that for now and owning it. Then I get to decide how to not go into ForF mode and how to make a more rational decision about what (if any outcomes) I can get from these types of mtgs.
