Here's where we left off in the last video- day 2-4 of our 8-day tiny cabin building project. My husband Dave and I are trying to bust out this cabin while the weather holds before winter really sets in.
This tiny off-grid cabin will be perfect as a little get-away to do some writing, creating, editing, or just plain relaxing!
But our building window is closing fast and there is a big storm in the forecast- can we get the roof on in time?

They should really teach these things in school,basic life skills you'll need. Can you imagine the confidence it would build in the youth & into adulthood. I think we could do it,I might have to persuade a carpenter friend to come help.

So cute watching you lift that rafter and your little arm muscles were flexing. Us little ladies are a lot stronger than we look. When I was younger I didn't reach 5'2" and rarely exceeding 110 lbs. I was a single mom to 4 boys and we moved quite a bit and it was mom that moved a lot of the big furniture.People said I looked like an ant moving a grasshopper when I lugged our 8ft couch out of the house inch by inch. I strapped the darn thing to the roof of my toyota wagon with the ropes going though all the windows and up around the couch. The looks I got!! Drove it 20 miles that way but it worked. Love your channel girl. Show em how it is done!
