I love the 8 Deco feet. Wish I could buy bags of them. The concave shape is great for getting edges of the bowl and the holes makes sense to not snuff out completely. Unsure if works… but yeah, their feet / tamper end are the best imo. The scraper on the metal ends types are week and bend easily though. Know it’s an old vid but if anyone’s sees… :)

Thanks for the tamper tour. I've been curious about the others. I've had the bamboo one for several years, and it has held up well. The bamboo portion has darkened over time. But I think this only improves it's appearance. I tend to prefer a pipe nail or Czech tool if I need a dottle pick though. As you said, the foot design is very well done. I twist and tamp as also. To clean it off, I use a pipe cleaner folded in half, and hold it steady against an arm rest or table and, holding the tamper perpendicularly to the cleaner, move the tamper from side to side and twist it occasionally. This keeps it reasonably clean between uses. If I don't do that, the little ridges will acquire some build up that isn't as easily removed, but nothing a little warm water can't remedy. Also, it is a hair wide for some small pipes, but works fine for most. If the foot is brass on the bamboo tamper, it hasn't required any polishing. While it isn't my fanciest tamper, it's certainly the one I reach for most often. Thanks again for the review.
