I wanted to lay down & listen to these stories, but my dog was restless & wanted to go for her 5th walk today. I put her beside me & started playing the video. She calmed down immediately. She apparently found Ripshy's voice very soothing, as she quietly listened until she fell asleep. I will be playing Ripshy often! ❤

My dog too ! Just got him and he's a puppy. I usually play these when i lay down to to to sleep at night. He's being crate trained and he quiets right up when he comes on. 😅

For a few years, I used to get phone calls from an unknown number. It would be an English sounding guy who would read out a series of numbers, then hang up. They stopped after a while, and I never found out what that was.

Sounds as if the caller confused you for a spy. It's almost as if this was a live numbers station relaying information to a foreign spy. Weird.

I once got a call that I had won a MacBook Pro and this guy was trying to lure me out to come get it. I hung up on him with the quickness. Nice try buddy!😂😂😂

When the op in the first story started talking about casually just immediately changing phone numbers I had to suspend my belief. That was not a painless process back a decade ago, I had a lot of friends in the wireless industry then.

They have AI scam calls that sound like people you know. Since it can be clear from a text that it’s a scam. It sounds just like a family member. Imagine getting a call from an unknown number, it sounding like your mother, and her asking you to send money as she’s on holiday and just lost her phone and wallet, and asking you to send her money. It’s easy to fall for a trap like that. So keep an eye on. Scams are literally horror movie leave creepy now.

1st story is fake. NO one changes their phone number because of ONE phone call! You just block that number, if they call back from another unknown number, you don't answer and block that one too. Block ALL calls that say "unknown", too. It is a huge hassle to change your number, a lot of people and business contacts have it, plus you can't do it "right away". Fake story.

Story 4 reminds me of what happened to my late grandparents, sadly never talked to them after this and even then it'd been a few years. Someone called them claiming to be me and said I was in trouble and needed money and they gave it to whoever these people were. They only found out when one of my aunts called me at work, and I had to call a cousin of mine to find out wtf was going on. Parents were working at the time so unreachable. RIP to both of them. Wish the con men were the ones 6 feet under instead.

I'm calling BS on the first story. Why would her boyfriend come up as unknown caller? Who doesn't have their partner's number saved? Also she says "Why are you texting me if we're talking on the phone?" when she was already suspicious that it wasn't him. That obviously confirms that it's not him.

"He sounded overweight" So much wrong with that sentence The implication that you can hear that someone is overweight on the voice, and the implication that him being overweight is a bad thing. As a fat person, those kinds of comments perpetuate fatphobia and the false belief that fat people are dangerous, when they're more likely to be victims themselves. Just disgusting.
