I mean, I’m all for one not trying to read sinister intentions from acts of good will, but the man butting in like he did felt off to begin with. Him also revisiting multiple times was already kind of an off putting thing the second time he came around. Granted, I’m already off put by the circumstances the story has in pretext already. I don’t know, but thinking back to this story now, I’m reminded of a movie called “The Gift” starring Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall, and Joel Edgerton. I don’t want to spoil the movie if you’re interested in watching it, but let’s put it this way, some of the stuff regarding the guy, Gordo (short for Gordon and played by Joel Edgerton) is off. Though he seems kind enough and invites them to dinner at his house, which is gated, much like this and seems that he’s rather well off. Brief context, Gordo wasn’t someone Jason Bateman had seen since high school, so it seemed like a nice reunion and a means to show how he’d moved up in life. Eventually, as dinner goes along, Gordo excuses himself, and they kind of just sit there talking. Jason being off put by the kindness but the odd context and disappearance suggests they look for him. So they go about the house to find him, and they can’t figure out where he went. So they go upstairs, and find a child’s room. He made no mention of having kids, and so they feel more off than they already did, and depart the place. Turns out, he wasn’t the owner, and the owners were in fact away. One of those, “if you intend to be genuine and natural, then why is everything so weird” kind of moments. But yeah, I guess in summary, be wary of such sudden, kind offers by strangers.

Wait… “Unfortunately”, there are not many true crime cases that can make your stomach turn…. That’s wild to say. 👀🤔😳

@@MizDBMe I love true crime but as much as I do, this case has my heart breaking for him. Giving someone absolutely everything just for them to pretty much turn around and say that they could care less about you and in fact, they have plans on how they want to end your life, that changes someone.

I drove through Blood Mtn. area on my way from Indiana to Georgia to visit relatives. It's creepy as hell when it's storming out. Driving those winding roads in a hail and thunderstorm left a lasting impression on me.

I live in white county and was working at the huddle house in Helen at the time and I'm wondering if it's the same guy that took a picture with a woman in front of the Helen huddle house the day he murdered her? So crazy to hear this on here.
