I came here looking for a way to install a camper roof on my diy camper build. This looks like exactly what I had in mind. Those camper roofs are pure junk especially with all the penetrations through them creating future leaks.thanks slot.
Thanks for the video. Although it would have been nice to see some caulk or sealant go in between the layers. We do it, and then seal over the top afterwards. It never fails if we send a trailer out for a large roof repair like this, it will always leak when it rains. Then we have to seal it only from the top. But thank you for the video, I'm sure there is some time lost to have your man record every thing he does. And I learned a new tool! Looked very neat.
Those roof stretchers are nice. You have the best trailer repair videos on you tube. Can't wait to watch them all. Do you have videos of cutting out bad spots in reefer floors.
I appreciate your videos bro. I'm in Savannah Ga and there aren't any independent reefer trailer mechanics. Therefore if you can upload videos of you replacing cross members and repairing reefer floors. I have 5 reefers so I would love the knowledge.
Thanks for the video . I’ve repaired a lot of roofs but never new how they were stretched , very good use of c-clamps. Do you put your seams over the roof bow or just to one side of them ? There’s all kinds of repair manuals for truck repair but very few if any for trailer repair , for me has always been trial and error. Thanks again
There's not much for trailer repair , I just try everything that comes to mind . As for the roof seam always over the bow and fasten both sides few inches way .
What’s the exact name of that air tool you were using when you were buck riveting the roof to the top rail of the trailer. Seems really useful and I wanna buy one but I don’t know what it’s called exactly.
