Work of art for sure. Good thing I was able to collect most of them and I guess i'm set for life. I was able to determine my signature scents and use them accordingly.

Me too. I got lucky to get so many of these prior to inflation hitting. I also feel set for life.

Fahrenheit Le Parfum is absolutely stunning. I wore the original Fahrenheit in the 1980s, but will not wear today’s watered down version. I’m glad Le Parfum came along. Too bad it’s hard to find and my current bottle, which I use sparingly, will probably be hard to replace when that day comes.

If you live in North America, I have found that Farenheit Parfum's availability comes and goes. I couldn't find it for over a year and then all of a sudden it showed up just before Christmas a couple years ago and it was easy to get. It's summer so it's hard to find right now.

Fahrenheit Le Parfum is divine. Old Spice is quintessential. I need to get decants of Royal Oud and MY SOTD: Elysium

Elysium? Do you have a bottle of that? I had a sample and it's the nicest fruity Fragrance I have ever tried.

@@ScentsofStyle99no, just a dupe. Imperium by Fragrance World. Not as rich as the OG, but gets the job done for 25 US

I just got Ombre Leather and By the Fireplace over the past month or so. I love them both! When the Rain Stops and Under the Lemon Trees are awesome too, and I love Coffee Break! I've only bought the 100 ml bottles of that from Amazon, and noticed that Coffee Break has a screw on atomizer, but the others are press on. I was worried they were fake, so I went to Sephora and tried to unscrew the test bottles there. One was screw top and the rest were press on, so it was random there too! Has anyone else noticed this? The Margiela Replica 10 ml ones I have bought are all screw top, and I know the 30 ml ones are refillable, but I haven't seen any mention regarding the 100 ml bottles.

Damn. I haven't tried any of my Maison Margielas to see. I'm curious now although my 10ml is definitely a screw on but I'm not sure about my bottles. I'd like to try coffee break - looks nice.

@@ScentsofStyle99 you need to! The more you try it the more you see why it’s most likely the best rose fragrance you’ll ever try. Oud Satin Mood Extrait and the 2 rose fragrances from Zaharoff the only others that can get anywhere close to it.

Great picks, and I gotta admit, when I saw this video and tried to imagine what scents you might feature, I was wrong on all counts. 😅

It's such a weird hobby though. Such a subjective hobby and, a lot depends on my mood too, ha ha.

I don't know, however, RU-vid is an incredible resource to learn about it.

The main problem of ALL these you've presented has melted down of their POWER from the original versions! Like Serge Lutens for.ex. if not being discontinued, rest still exists are nothing put a dissolved water pisses anymore! I'm disappointed with EVERY iconic "old" fragrance; used to be great, but today not worth of even mentioned! And you should know this FACT if state yourself a "professional frag head"😊😊
@ScentsofStyle99

Yes, a lot of the older Fragrances have been watered down, but if niche houses like Serge Lutens did it, they wouldn't last long because performance is crucial to niche houses. Creed has certainly done it but it's the exception for niche rather than the rule. The idea that ALL of these have been watered down is far from true.
@elfillari

@@ScentsofStyle99 Serge Lutens has done it every time when "recreation" of elder version has released. My all time favorite "girl on pine needles" (fille in aiguilles) changed radically watered down when they changed the bottle. They even said they haven't watered the juice but that's so childish response even from them. Same with Maison Francis Kurkdjian original OUD. Today's projection is redicilious lame compared to 2011! BUT there is such a good oriental CLONES today; the best and with better longevity for MFK OUD is from Generic perfume's (Kuwait) including the reduction of the prices compared to the originals. We have to remember the origin from the ingredients coming from far east and Arabic in the beginning also to the Nieches too😊👍

If we're talking watering stuff down, Creed are the kings of it and are perilously close to killing their brand. What they have done to both Aventus and Milliseme Imperiale are criminal. As far as |Serge Lutens - I still get good performance but I DO NOT with MI and won't be buying a bottle of Creed until they smarten up.

Ombre Leather is to me, not very wearable and nothing special.

Fragrance is so subjective. One person's masterpiece is another person's irritation. It's a weird hobby that way.

Lol, It's not for everyone, but anything that's lasted 84 years and is still all over the stores is doing something right. Thanks for watching.
