That bit where priestess gut uses sleep on you also has a different reaction entirely if you're an elf. Because you can't be put to sleep. It's pretty great lol.
I thought the same until the husband died and I used speak with dead on him. He wanted the dowry because it meant so much to his wife. I still think it is cold of him asking about the dowry. LOL. I lost count of how many times I accidently sold the darn thing to Brem in the hideout there and had to repurchase it because I can't stand having an unfinished quest.
The fight he got in with his wife had to do with the dowry. The reason he wants it back is because giving it to her sister like she wanted in the first place is the only thing he can do now to say sorry. Since he no longer has that chance.
@@angelasimms757 I asked his wife first and then went to rescued him in my first play through. He really regrets and mourns her after knowing she died cause returned for searching him. I was shocked and angry at him because he is happy and only concern the dowry but no sorry when I asked in front of him in my second play through. Therefore I always ask her first and go help him every time. Maybe I should try to ask his dead body next time XD
the goblins reactions during act 1 when you play a drow is one of my favourite things. made the goblin camp very interesting and more fun during my current playthrough of the game.
I'd imagine she'd still try to use the Sleep spell, but with Fey Ancestry...it'd be a no go and I'd imagine that combat would just initiate like it does with the potion fails.
