I’m an ivy transfer I was hoping that maybe you could do a video on transfer students because I think of lot of them have unique perspectives on being inside and outside the Ivy League and interesting circumstances or applications! Not to mention that your channel was a great resource for me when deciding to transfer or not and I wish there were more transfer specific voices out there for the ivies 😃

Honestly, some of them are really what I picture the PERFECT match to look like: Dartmouth and Hannah, Quan and Columbia, also Hayley and UPenn. They just genuinely look and act like they belong, which is amazing. Quick question, what do they think they're stand- out factor was?

I would love to see the same sort of thing with international universities like top 20 QS universities since some of those are in the US, some in the UK, some in China, Singapore etc. I think it would be really cool to see a more international perspective. You should expand this to students from other schools ranked in the top 30 on US News and World Report. For example MIT, Stanford, Duke, USC, Northwestern, etc.

this is so interesting because as a Canadian uni student, our education systems are soooo different! it would be interesting to see a version of this series with Canadian vs American students! we literally don't have an ivy league, there are top schools but they're not regarded in the same way Americans see the ivy league, so the contrast would be crazy, if possible!

If you can get an internship at a top school that you want to go to that will help you a lot. Especially if you can get the professor you’re working under to write you a rec letter. Other than that you really just have to get lucky

I’m an incoming Princeton freshman and I have no idea what I want out of housing. I Love, love, loveeeeeeeeeee your videos. Anyways, quick question, would any of the Ivy Leagues say or consider about admitting someone with progressing grades. What i mean by this is let's say you're starting of with 2A 2Cs then you get 3Bs 1A then you finally get 4A*s. Like would they question how, or why?

Oooh i have a question, do you need like a lot of extra curricular in order to get into an Ivy? And also how was it when you were writing the supplementary essay, especially Princeton?

Hey! I got into Cornell and I’d say that you don’t really need to have a lot of extracurriculars (5-6 at most maybe), but you have to really show commitment to each of them (by taking leadership positions, for example) and they should correlate with your future aspirations. That way, you have a theme in your application and you can stand out. I don’t know much about the Princeton supplementary essay because I didn’t have a chance to apply there, but I know that when I wrote my supplemental essay for Cornell, I had to do lots of research about the school & the department that I wanted to go in and be really specific about why I want to go there and how I can benefit the school!! I hope this helped 💛 Good luck with everything!

I like her channel for that. There's nothing wrong with highlighting the people that got into a university with 7% acceptance rate. It’s cool. It doesn't mean they're better than anyone else. And the reason why MIT and Stanford aren’t ives is that they're not in the northeast.

Do any of the Ivies in particular like to accept LGBTQ+ applicants? I'm transmasculine and I'm questioning whether I should put this on my applications. My current draft for my CommonApp is actually a really funny story about how I got outed and how it led to me becoming a student leader of a statewide organization for LGBTQ+ students. (Columbia, Yale, and UPenn specifically, but any information would be useful!) Thank you so much! And I absolutely adore these videos!! I hope you're all well!
