I don't usually watch anime, but when it do, its because I saw a funny clip of a guy yelling about a van several years ago and remembered it last week.
I love how much this show just doesn't elaborate on how Kotaro knows necromancy, and heavily implies that some of them he probably killed on his own by accident. Bro is so goofy as if the implied existence of him being a necromancer isn't downright insane, like what's the lore behind this? I love it lol
I don't think he actually killed any Franchouchou member atleast except for Sakura; the rest pretty much died thanks to either a goofy thunderbolt strike, hair, a plane crash, burns from a motorcycle accident, being executed by the government, and doing a fusion dance (if that one prequel manga is canon)
He sounds like hed turn up in one of those try not to laugh anime videos where its nonstop abridged episodes or memes because the creator of the video didnt know this is just how he is
May i ask why do we like him?? Like sure sometimes he's nice but most of the time he's weird also him with the chin grab- i'm talking like in like character perspective or (i'm terrible at explaining stuff so sorry) like i wanna be a storyteller and like character way asking how did he managed to be likable by us what did they do right??? Someone explain also personally i enjoy Zombieland saga more than Zombie100 but it's good too! (Except that he's funny)
I haven’t watched the show but based on the clips and compilations I’ve seen, I like him because he’s funny and entertaining. You can like a character without liking them as a person.
I think I have a theory - he’s so refreshing because while he’s a mysterious tall handsome dude with charisma and basically the potential for a harem but instead of following the usual trope he goes against every single standard by being a ridiculously random and super weird ass guy who is really funny moment to moment but also gives the show its urgency and drives the plot forward. He’s the sole reason Franchouchou exists, and continues to exist, and despite his absurd (but awesome) shenanigans he remains a loyal and non-threatening person
