I kind of felt bad for him, basically having to create and uphold a society from scratch with no tools to deal with the trauma from the war that led to it still hope he apologizes to Az though.
@@Fairygoblet I also believe that he might have a mental crisis of some sort. Because everything he has ever known is gone. Sure, he's with Bee but the one thing that angels believe is that their work is everything. So you know....that's the karma I hope Gabriel gets
@@ironvlogger9712Gabriel was terrible but, at the end of the day he was just the product of his environment. The real bad guy is the Metatron. I don’t think Aziraphale is the only one he has manipulated and he is probably the reason why heaven is toxic. Instead i hope Gabriel makes amends for his past actions.
I really wonder how they managed to shoot all the Jim scenes without laughing their ass out every time...someone must have cast a 25 Lazarii miracle, there's no other explanation 😂
i live with jim in my heart now, i know he's living his best life with his fly spouse even if he's going by gabriel now, he seemed Very jim-happy at the end and that's all that matters
its really interesting to me how losing his memory (after falling in love) made him a much better person (or rather angel lol). he just wants to do good (like dusting and ordering books) and he will do as he is told as long as he thinks its for good (jumping out the window and giving himself to the demons). perhaps all those terrible things he had to oversee and support made him so cold and not sensitive to human pain, but when he loses his memory he is willing to be taken by demons to save a bookshop full of people he doesnt know. whatever heaven has in stock for aziraphale can't be good.
I love to think that Jim is who Gabriel used to be before he went all power-trip-angel. Jim as an angel would be awesome. But I’m glad he’s happy being off with beelzebub :)
The exit of Jim and return of Gabriel was the REAL tragedy at the end of Season 2 (we do not acknowledge any other Season 2 tragedies in this household)
Personally I think Gabriel is going to get some character development in season 3. He’s probably going to be more complex. Mostly because now the Metatron is going to be the antagonist and since season 1 also gave some spotlight on other characters I imagine Gabriel getting the same treatment
I love that "Who told you I was naked?" is a parody of the line in Genesis where God actually asks Eve and Adam "Who told you you were naked?" after they ate the forbidden fruit and put on clothes.
Jim can't be held responsible for Gabriel's actions. He's just a smol bean who never chose to harm anyone. But Gabriel does still need to apologize, yes. More than that, he needs to fight to undo his wrongs if he's even worthy to be considered for forgiveness, imo. Unless Gabriel is a chief part of the resistence next season he's still garbage in my books.
