It’s almost as if Asian developers realised people like good single player games rather than reskinned multiplayer games with tons of micro transactions
Ngl this isn't even that impressive anymore, so many games have come out in the past couple years that look identical to this and honestly I'm burnt out on the realistic looking games. Now on the other hand, the gameplay is another thing, it looks fluid and almost like a cgi movie.
@@tlungu962 yeah but that doesn't correlate to the graphical art style of the game. All I'm saying is that it's getting bland. This game looks good and I'll give it that. Just a little tired of the art style (realistic) that's all
@@warioscousin I hear you, the only 2 games where I never get tired of the realistic style is ghost of tsushima and arkham knight because the worlds in those games are still made with immense detail and care. In a lot of games with a realistic art style they put less effort into the art side of things because they think the graphics will make up for it
These Eastern Game Developers are Extremely Talented, and I mean that in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Stellar Blade, Black Myth Wukong, Phantom Blade Zero, these games are Peak. 2 of the games that are out, have broken World Records. This one could also break a Record👌💯
So tired of that being in almost every action game now. Let me just fight. Make the fights challenging and you won't need external means like a stamina bar to make it challenging.
Say what u want bout ac shadows but that game gone sell like hot cake the ac fam base is big and people who don’t play ac will pick up shadows cause it’s in Japan
@@careyunknown3449 ahhh ok, first some reason I thought it was this year but 2026 is fine, I have a huge backlog, hopefully we will get some meaty Stellar Blade DLC
The main artist of Phantom Blade 0 is Michael CTY, who has made a lot of contributions to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Soulframe of S-Game (the creator of Phantom Blade & Blood Rain series) came to him and said, hey buddy, I want to make a big project. Micheal said: If you just want to continue making a F2P thing, then we can cooperate. If you want to make a game like Black Myth, then I will join directly. Micheal is now a member of S-Game in Beijing.
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice opened a door to seamless deflecting gameplay combat with good and fluid animations. Maybe western developers should consider coding good fluid gameplay (am looking at you Ubisoft and your assassins creed games)
I'm glad this seems to be taking more of a Sekiro and Bloodborne approach to faster combat that the Dark/Demon Souls slower combat. It also seems more forgiving in taking hits with much better maneuverability and options to tackle multiple enemies at once. Feels closer to DmC and Ninja Gaiden where you feel like a badass.
Asian devs are carrying this generation HARD. FF16, FF7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade, Wukong, and now Phantom Blade 0.. these all exemplify what modern gaming should actually be like. quality COMPLETE experiences over unfinished we'll-fix-it-later games designed around shamelessly greedy wallet draining MTX mechanics. thank god we dont have to rely on western devs for AAA games
Crimson desert didn't even look that good for real, only thing people seen was the grass flying everywhere from the characters fighting each other & I guarantee that's the only thing that makes that game look decent enough for people to buy
I believe there will never be a successor to devil may cry; that franchise combines, especially with dmc 5, so many combos with weapon switching. Ninja Gaiden’s successor to me was sekiro.
Welp someone didn't play the game,GOW 2018 doesn't have lock on and lock of mode , and when you fight bosses it doesn't feel like their tanky metal. Mfs are probably were watching their favorite streamer or youtuber playing black myth wukong without playing it themselves 🤦🏽♂️💀
@@redguardgaming902hes referencing the game journalist who gave that Wu Kong game a bad rap because there wasn't enough american identity politics in a game about Chinese mythology.
I can't believe I'm saying this but please upload higher than 1080p because this does not look like good quality. It's not giving the game Justice because I know this game is gorgeous
I don't know guys, but every single game feels childish and science fictional after ghost of tsushima, games like ghost, last of us etc should be produced more and more, i dont know why people are so obsessed with games doing magical abilties, flying right and left, etc, but we need more realistic games, I ain't judging anyone's preferences, but come on, at this point it's getting one sided. Little kids getting obsessed over super powers, meanwhile grown ups seek real life scenario games. I've grown up with assassins creed games, back when they were realistic, I dont understand why some people falling in love with games like elder ring etc, alright, they might be hard and challenging, but they have no aura, they feel like they are made for 12 year old kids, ghost of tsushima, last of us, RDR, tomb rider, uncharted and assassins creed(till origins, even that was a lil too much) are literally the only one's worth playing, enough with the super powers every year
for the longest time in game development, this seems to be the only game that would resemble or remind me of the one and only legendary game Onimusha widely known back in the days. i miss that franchise so much but sadly it was never revived, thank goodness finally someone had enough and decided to develop it themselves and for everyone.
So far ot really looks like a black myth knock off. Xombat looks easier and the mechanics also look worse. But yah the foresty mountain vibe seems way too much like the beginning of black myth
@Jpavey23 A youtuber went to preview it and it was indicated to be fall 2026. I also hope its not thw case though, don't like being teases that far in advance 😂
