When it gets cold I don't wear long sleeves and it has nothing to with being "tough" it's just that I don't like having long sleeves especially ones u get hot and sweaty. Especially of u get hot then sit and the sweat gets freezing cold bc it's stick in the now wet material.
What's really sad...I was a coach and mostly everything he said happened/happens. Kids are more worried about how they look opposed to the technique they need to learn. They're late from getting dressed because they got 1000 accessories and can barely line up properly. It's mad annoying
Not a player mistake but. I hate when I just bought a new Z10 navy blue helmet 2months ago and now my team is changing name and colours to black and white. So now I have a great practice helm and need to go spend 400$ or so on a new helm. Not playing in old helmets the team hands out, my head is to important to me to play in a 3star rated helm.
Hyper XB same (I play WR, OLB, and ILB) I use lineman cleats for the ankle support because I sprain my ankles easily. Btw if you looking for a good ankle support sleeve buy the Nike knitted advantage.
I'm a linemen and wearing Adidas adizero 5 7.0 but I'm 245lbs and 6,3 but I like the feel of the cleat it makes me fell faster also my foot can breathe it's really comfortable
just a quick question, I'm going into my first football season ever, and I'm playing linemen and punter (Weird combo, I know) but I don't know whether to wear a soccer cleat for punter, putting me at risk on the line, or a bulky linemen cleat, which would make it difficult to punt, or should I use another type of cleat?
Deez_Newts find a light lineman cleat or just go based off of what you will play more. if you are subbing occasionally at lineman for one or two plays, go with the soccer cleat, if you are playing mainly lineman (especially if your team doesn’t punt much), use the lineman cleats. (idk how heavy they are compared to other cleats, but i wear UA highlights at DE because it’s lightweight imo and it protects my feet well)
@@eli6797 Thanks! My season just ended and about mid way through I switched to DE, so the coaches recommended me to get a lighter cleat anyways. But thank you very much!
But its linemen tradition to go shirtless on the last practice of the season in fucking hailing weather (no joke every year it hails on the last practice)
Hey I got an important question. What are some good tips for skinny high school players ? I’m 5’7” and about 110-115lbs. What are some tips for people like myself ?
Speed speed speed... also hit the weight room and invest in some creatine and lift (before using creatine speak to your strength and conditioning coach first) it helped me gain 30 lbs of almost all muscle in about 2 years
I have a question should I skip church mission trips and miss a couple days of football practice or should I go to football practice and miss church mission trip
i dont think that just because its outside of october you cant wear pink , like me , pink is my favorite color so i got pink under armour cleats , i dont think you should be against that
sleeves at cold practices is weak it gets you ready for the game my mindset and my coaches mind set is to make practice so hard and unbearable that the game feels like a walk through.
Don't jump to catch the ball as a wide receiver unless you absolutely need to. Just don't do it. I used to have a habit of doing it. I jumped to catch a ball right to the chest and the saftey and corner bashed me mid air.
I just watched your other video about new players. One things said “don’t over due swag.” I’m new, but I do plan to keep playing. My friends who play say I’m pretty decent but still everyone knows it’s my first year. Would wearing a speedflex make me look stupid? I really like the helmet and everyone says it’s the best protection but I still don’t wanna lose respect from wearing the most expensive helmet year 1
I'm with you kn the clear situation but I'm a lineman and also a kicker so I'm kinda screwed is there and clears you would suggest for my sticky situation
Don’t wear your visor at practice because you could damage or scratch it it’s made to protect your eyes that’s what it’s therefore there is no price for your eyes they’re priceless
I have been playing since I was 6 and I’m 13 now but they help with facemask grabbing and getting poked in the eye and some people just use for fashion
You were probably the prettiest player on the sideline. We call these kids SHOW MEs....you got all the high dollar equipment and think you look cool but can you SHOW ME on the field !
