I was a senior captain and I liked being in the back for warmups I liked being able to dap up and do pregame checks with everyone in front and I wasn’t the type of guy to demand that I be on top I think as a leader it gives respect if you’re able to work with the freshman opposing to bash them

number one rule is protect your qb. If there is late hits, or a legal hit you don't like (to rough or should be a flag) , stand up for the qb

My opinion on the seniors bossing around the freshmen/rookies to do shit is that it is completely wrong. That shows no leadership and in my opinion creates a toxic atmosphere on the team.

I tried to help my quarterback get back up after he got sacked, but he got a concussion so he sat down there for a bit. P.S. It was totally my fault he got tackled, it was my first time playing running back and I didn't know how to block because my coaches never let me practice as running back.

beef on the field is annoying i play soccer as well as football and am a goal keeper theres this one guy who blames the other team scoring on me when my defense isnt evern there half the time 🤦‍♂️

Yea I’ve noticed that now you don’t really take a knee unless some is really really hurt the only time the whole team has taken a knee was one time there was a guy with a neck injury on the other team and they had to cut is face mask off luckily he was fine but the game felt way different after that

I'm a new guy on my team but I'm still respected like I was a guy on the team for years, yeah I had friends on the team I was friends with the db a few lineman and line backers along with the fastest kid on the team but still its great and I plan on staying

The seniors need to set the example. So their actions should command respect. Not just because they have time in.

too bad football is not big in the GTA area. my HS finally got a f'ing football team on my senior yr....and seniors weren't allow to tryout for the team cuz we all be gone soon....like wtf. love all my friends and some teachers at the HS but I hated that HS. (our school is so old that the only room in the entire school that had AC was the library. during summer the school was literately a boiler room.

our coach does talk to us when a player is injured but we do take a knee its kinda like the end of practice
