Really nice work man. As other usera said, U have given us more right information in just 10min video that a lot of trainers in sesions and sesions... Keep that good work.
Usually nerver comment but.. I watch ALOT of padel videos because... well I kinda suck 😂😂 but I have to say this is my new favorite content! Funny but still explains everything from start to finish! Awesome! Keep it up
@@OtroNivelPadel Got a question for u. Me and my partner just switched sides because he got a better smash and I place The balls better. The one thing I really liked before when I was playing on the backhand sides was hard forehand bajadas after the glass. Yesterday was the first time i tried that with the backhand and well.. not impressed haha. Do you make that shot with a double handed backhand or any other tips? =)
@@Jansson18 Hi Robin, Great to hear how you are really into padel :) Well.. I think that the high balls that bounce in the middle of the court should be your partners (if he has time). For me as a coach I would like to know what the result is of your backhand Bajada. Where is the ball going? Then it is easier for me to give you some tips. If you play off the wall it is much better to use one hand. Try to get behind the ball and imagine you are playing a high backhand volley :) The stance of the racket is similar to the bandeja/bajada. Hope this helps
@@OtroNivelPadel I totally agree that if my partner have time its his. And I also try to move so that i can hit it with the forehand. But if let say my partner is deep in his corner and I get a high bounce from the glass and I "have to" hit it with the backhand. The ball bounce is higher then the net so i wanna hit it really hard net high? I know im not that good but I dont get that power from a one handed backhand? Hopefully you understand hehe
Yes I understand, try to prepare with two hands. When you go forward, you push the right arm forward and the left hand backwards. Try to hit the ball high and infront of you. Playing the ball softly down the middle is also a good option. Low on the feet of the net player.
I love these videos and it's nice to see the sport taking off in the Netherlands. I thought I heard you mention Noordwijk in one of your videos? Do you ever get players from ESA ESTEC?
Hi Thomas, Yes here in the Netherlands the sport is growing every day! I don’t know anybody from Esa, that is indeed located in Noordwijk. Thanks for your wonderful comment 😃
Que si tio que e' muy faci 😅 De veras, buen video 👍🏼, y esta vez sólo tengo 5 de los 8 errores 😛. Con suerte de aquí a final de año lo dejo en solo 2 💪🏼. VAMOS
Haha very funny way yo present it! Very clear thank you. I applied some of you advice and I improved my bandeja a bit. I still have some issues hitting the ball in front of me as I don't get back fast enough. Cheers!
Bandeja is not always a defensive shot... now a days is a very offensive shot. The racket does not have to be fully raised, we have to carry it behind the head to be able to hit the ball from the side.
Pau I agree! But for most people it should be a defensive shot. The shot you are describing is a vibora, that shot is very different from the bandeja and should only be played by high level players.
Yo tambien - pero no he pagado 50 clases - HeHeHe! I am Scottish we like stuff for free - like your videos!!! A serious point however. The videos I have seen for bandeja/vibora are concentrating on players who play on the left. I, like at least half all of padel players, play on the right. It is easy to say - "just do the same on the other side" but not easy to visualise the adaptation of the videos to the right side.. Could you perhaps do a combined bandeja/vibora wideo for us players who play on the right? But you are a star!!!! Do you do private classes? My brother lives in Rotterdam and I am thinking of coming over to see him in December?
Woow cool you did this video, thanks! I have a question on mistake number 3, you say you should not hit the ball too fast. Are their situations where you would actually hit the bandeja really hard, like the ball you hit at 0:04?
Hi Hans! Thank you! Great question! I think the main goal of the bandeja is to keep the defender behind the line. When you play faster that chance is higher. If you play straight the ball bounces higher and will come back more, so that should be a slower shot. You can play faster if you play to the corner. You can also play faster after a good ball in the middle. The opponent is in the middle of the court and you might hurt him with a fast ball to the corner where you hit the backwall first. Hope this helps :)
The short motion isnt always good, if u bring ur racket a bit more back u get more forwards motion so u can get faster back to the net. And it harder to do the short motion if the ball comes high
Hi Sam, thanks for your response :) I think the forward motion is also possible from a short backswing. A bigger swing will increase the speed too much and will decrease the slice. I think the short backswing is possible at every ball. But that is just my opinion 😁
@@OtroNivelPadel thats also true but i think if u get a high ball and ur skill level is high dan hitting a ball hard just before the glass is a hard or harder to save
