Leatherman rocks. Had the same Wave since they came out. (1st version, without the locking tools.) Bought the next version. The quality is there. Still carry and use it everyday. I have nothing against any of the other brands out there, but Leatherman works for me. Period. Cheers and keep the great vids coming.
Really nice to see the Leatherman Wave getting some love. It's my go to, medium/heavy duty tool, cuz sometimes the classic Victorinox options just aren't enough. Some days I do pick the Wingman since it doesn't really need a pouch, and won't just drop to the bottom of my pocket. The leather is definitely a popular one for EDC, personally I like it because it's the original, and I don't feel like modern materials can age well in the way leather does. Also, it is incredibly durable and goes with nearly any style where nylon, carbon fiber or rubber would just look out of place. I'm sure there are others likeme waiting for the video that features some of the larger Victorinox and Wenger offerings. Not everyone uses little tiny multi-tools haha! Another good video that did not disappoint; well worth the wait man 😎
@@gjhoward hands down, so true. I have a Leatherman Wave Plus because I stupidly packed my Original Wave that I've had for over 15yrs into a box during a recent move. Not intentionally by any means, but it happened. I had justified reason to get a Wave Plus, right?! 😎 It serves me well, and qhile it isn't all that much of an upgrade when you look at the cutter change, it's absolutely worth it to me. I cit heavy duty cargo seals on semi-trailers and sea containers, the looks from drivers when I whip out the Leatherman for the job is priceless. The Wave Plus and one of the Victorinox Tinker line is a must in my EDC.
I have a couple different Leatherman's that I picked up at pawn shops usually very very cheap but they're too heavy for me to EDC because I don't use them that often. I do however have them in most of my go bags.
My ideal edc multitool setup would be the signal(in coyote) and the style CS for a good, solid pair of shears, and some redundancy. Leatherman’s the best! God bless you all
Yes! Featured! 4:02 thank you Taylor! I forgot to mention my Instagram handle. It's @gear_junkie82 This just made my day! Carry on, Taylor. 😊 Sincerely, Greg
Great stuff once again on the Best Damn EDC ;) I have a Leatherman PS4 Squirt that I carry in my backpack, and it is quite useful, maybe not in a daily basis, but when the occasion demands! Small but with high quality! Thanks for the video once again Taylor 👍
Damn I wish I knew this was the theme this week. I would have submitted.i modified my wave and replaced the serrated blade with a 154cm blade and the 420hc plain blade with an s30v blade
Just found this channel, so far i really like the type of videos you do. All of these reviews and the featured edc is really nice. This channel will definitely help me refine and upgrade my edc.
Am I the only one who likes the honorable mentions a little more than the features? I mean seeing peoples descriptions of theirown items is nice but him just describing the pictures is a little more chill and nicer
I was thinking all last week about putting in an entry to the EDC Weekly, and there's suddenly a Leatherman week. My OHT never leaves my side for my work EDC, and I've never seen anyone else carrying one. I knew I should have done it... RIP feature dreams
If you're looking for cheaper beads with a fairly decent range, you should search for Dreaklock beads. They can be really cheap and it's easy to find ones that are about 6mm or 1/4" so that you can get paracord or leather through them more easily. All my lanyards have Dreadz Bear Print brass beads, and I can get 3 for less than £10.
John is great guy over at brass werx he actually sent me another one of those pry tools to do for a giveaway when I hit a thousand subscribers, he's a good freind through youtube and ig...thanks for the feature i def give ya credit for the ruks haha.
My wife has threatened to ban me from your channel. Since starting to watch you only about two or three weeks ago, I've purchased both of us a key smart, a Gerber shard for my pocket and a Columbia River Knife and Tool 2055, that I put on my key smart. Now I just have to find a place in Canada that sells the Slidewinder from Outdoor Edge. LOL
I don’t get some of these. I have a phone, earbuds, keys, wallet, and a single Leatherman Wave+. As much as I would love to throw in a Swiss Army knife, PM2, and two razor box cutters, I really don’t think that’s practical. A bunch of these guys (aside from the dude with the Damascus Signal) are carrying so many blades. I don’t see the draw of having to choose which blade I’ll be using for which job every time, when I can just have one and go for that without thinking. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think that many blades adds a ton of weight for not really any gain. Especially considering I have the Wave, which always has two blades on hand. Please let me know what you all think, because maybe there’s something I’m missing here.
They take forever to ship I got a tracking number that showed it was shipped on Saturday but it just left the facility on the 4th. Which is fine but they take your money immediately
I am thinking about getting some sorta leather pocket armor to hold a leatherman ps4 a small flashlight to be determined and a fisher space pen. Does anybody have any suggestions?
