Exactly 💯 I guarantee the children did not care if the trip was filmed or not. If they did, it's because they trained them to always be in front of the camera. If you make money off your kids, it's exploitation, PERIOD!

@@Britty_90 I honestly think even if the kids wanted to be filmed they didn't necessarily want it POSTED! I remember being a kid in the 90s and when the camcorder came out we all wanted to show off in some way, and it wasn't to post online or anything. It was cuz my parents wanted those memories filmed to be able to look back on and show us. I do that with my nephews all the time. I think they just wanted to be filmed to be able to see it again and they weren't even considering it being posted online. Like, that is just insanity to me that this mom seems so out of touch with reality.

Also, she doesn't even worry about her nieces and nephews; I'm sure her kids are freakin out about what is happening to their cousins or at least are worried about them. She wishes peace to her sisters but does not try to get her nieces and nephews out of this scary situation. smh

@@mewmint2359 they think they need to teach an infant baby who only knows how to crawl (no words) what a spanking is so they don’t crawl into floor level cabinets to drink bleach, or crawl into a pool by putting them on a blanket and spanking them every time they crawl off of the blanket to reach for the parent or a toy, usually they have a few toys with them and are expected to entertain themself timed for an hour or less but some do it way longer, I’ve also heard it called “boundary training” but i thought it was a german catholic thing, didn’t know Mormons were into it too but that makes sense. Tbh i don’t get how it works, i think it’s just a delulu frustration thing bc the baby doesn’t really know words yet at the age that this is popular.. they can’t communicate so i think they’re just scared into regressing when alone so they don’t crawl idk i recommend you just babyproof your house and keep the door closed if you have a crawling baby😅

There are so many abusive religious “therapists” in Utah that the system is kind of overloaded and not all that motivated to begin with. If someone espouses LDS doctrine people tend to look the other way.

@@alice45-fgd-456drt the church basically runs the government in utah, and almost everyone is part of the church so they turn blind eyes to shit. There is a belief that fathers (kinda mothers it’s unclear) can receive direct revelations from god about their family and what’s best for them. Basically anything the head of the family says is theoretically ordained of God. ie god said it was ok and u can’t question god. “doubt your doubts before you doubt god” it’s basically believed parents essentially can act as prophet for their families

I don’t even believe that interaction with her children even happened to be very honest. Because you mean to tell me that YOU, a person so conditioned to record every little thing your family does, went on a trip with your kids and took no videos?🤨 If she said “they asked me why I didn’t post any videos” it would be more believable. And I hope she’s lying because the alternative is that she took her kids on this trip, probably made the energy weird, and acted like she won’t be capturing memories anymore because she can’t upload them to RU-vid. Making her kids feel bad so she can be like “look my kids are BEGGING to be in my videos, they’re so sad😔😢.” YOUR KIDS WILL BE FINE LADY🤦‍♀️.

Bit surprised the police didn't seize those devices when they raided the house. Probably contain some fairly incriminating parenting, the stuff on RU-vid may be the tamer well behaved side that they show the world. What is the rest of their footage like? This is the only case I have followed as it has happened. It is so inhumane what these two women have done to these children, I don’t even want to call Ruby their mother as she does not feel like she is. Although the father has possibly been manipulated by Jodi, his actions albeit going along with Ruby’s “parenting style” very much speaks for itself. My wish is for these children to be free of these people, and for them to live with loving and caring humans who actually takes care of them and loves them.

I get that you've not used the best discretion in the past, but when your children ask why are they not in the videos explain the facts of the matter. Show the damage of what others have gone through, the dangers of strangers online, etc. It's that simple!

Something that upsets me is that lots of people are expecting Ruby's family to speak out about the situation. This family is hurting and most of them have kids that are hurting because of what Ruby has done. No-one is obligated to speak out about anything, and a lot of them who may be witnesses might not be able to legally. Something we have to remember is that this is a real-life situation, it's not some made up entertainment. Show the extensions of the Franke family some basic decency and stop hounding them for their opinions on their young relatives being severely abused.

Ngl I think the kids don’t know how to function without simple moments and trips being filmed because a vast majority of their lives are consisting of being subjects of filming, if what she is saying is true. And that is the sign that you need to STOP filming your children, they need to know how to work about the world without a camera aimed at them everyday and more than likely are not developing mentally in a healthy mindset and relationship within themselves and their family/peers. Also you do not need to post. You can film little videos and keep them for the family, not for millions of people to watch long before your children will EVER get around to watching them.
