Hey guys welcome back to my channel and for this fun project have fun guys xx a free pattern of the star blanket can be found here by lulu loves crochet www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...
I love this!! Thank you so much! I’m now in my 3rd blanket with your pattern and I only started in March!! Also, I’m a left handed writer but a right handed crocheter, and a beginner…if I can do it, it’s all possible!!! Thanks again!
Kyle, I think that I finally have it. Thank you. I was making this with a "stabby" stitch and I just couldn't get the darn hang of the pattern. I have it now. Thank you for such clear instructions. ❤❤
Idky actually getting to see a lefty crochet this is so interesting. You have a very different way of dousing double crochets & I like it. I need this cornering method for a flat granny 8pt star throw.
My sis found your channel and told me about you. I'm so glad she did. Being lefty as well it is so much easier to follow your videos. love the 8 point granny blanket
Hi thank you so much for this video. I’m not left handed but found it so easy to follow you. I look forward to watching lots more of your tutorial. I’m hoping my star blanket looks as gorgeous as yours xxx
I absolutely love this! Thanks for making it easy to follow. All of your crochet videos are stunning and unique. Love this channel. I love color as well. Cheers!
I have thought of doing a cocoon shrug with 8 point granny square, but not sure how it'll work... This is brilliant that you add corners to the star; I can use that option if the star shrug doesn't work out, or for a good colour contrast !.. So refreshing to follow a pattern done by another lefty too!!
Hi! New to your channel. I’m loving how simple you make this. I’m ordering my yarn now to make my daughter a blanket in her favorite colors. You are the first lefty I have seen and I love it. Will be looking for more ideas on your page. Thanks for your hard work!
I've admired these star grannies...but always thought...what do you even use this for, it's not practical, beautiful, but not practical! Being a sensible gal. I'd watch it being made, but never set about making it. (Watched fiber spider make his). But.....then, while looking for border inspiration for a granny blanket for my granddaughter I find your tutorial for this. Intrigued I watch....amazing!!! Now! I can make a beautiful AND practical blanket!!! Cheers, from east coast, USA!
Beautiful yarn. Where did you say it was bought at? I know you said Turkey but what store? Im right handed lol I can figure out what your doing. I've been wanting to make this one. Thank you for your time.
Beautiful blanket and a wonderfully explained tutorial! Thank you so much. How large did your blanket it’s self turn out I have some of this yarn laying in my stash. Thanks in advance. x
If I want to keep the blanket as a star without the square corner background, would I just keep going along with the star pattern until I finish at the size I want? Just end it with the third row that skips the middle, and then slip stitch all the way across that last row? Thanks! This video was very helpful
I am having trouble with the square around the star. Do you have a written pattern. I am right handed. I got the star but not the square part. Any help.
Hey! Thanks for the video! Can I ask how big this ended up please? I want one to finish around 4ftx4ft and not sure how many metres of yarn I will need. Thanks in advance 😊 x
To make sure you get the right size measure from one point across to the opposite point this gives you the measurement , if you use aran or chunky yarn you will need less rows than if you use a dk weight.
Hello! Was wondering if you would do a written pattern out for the border around the star? It would make it a lot easier for those of us who have a hard time following the video.
I like to get this pattern but it will not download on mykindle I would be willing g to pay for it. I have done a few kaleidoscope Afghan and I like how this starts up as a star. Thank you. Vicki Anderson
