You have stated all the reasons why I want to relocate to TCI. The only point that I would miss is the autumn but I could always travel to USA for vacation to enjoy October.
At first I thought she was playing a joke (maybe its both). #1 - I live in Canada. Try living and working in the winter and you will hate it in the first month. Also, try no sun for 4-6 months from overcast and watch your mood deteriorate every day. #2 - Nobody should even eat fast food! Its only made for children and drunk people. Its horrible! #3 - Shopping malls? Who cares about that unless your a 16 year old girl #4 - I go to a beach hoping for some peace and quiet! Ever been to a beach so packed you cant find a spot to sit? FYI it's awful! #5 - Every nightclub in the world is just over packed and too loud to enjoy. Its meant for 18-24 year olds until they grow up and realize how lame they are. #6 - Come and enjoy sitting in traffic for an hour and a half in deadlock to and from work. Ever deal with road rage? It's basically experiencing society at its worst. #7 - My taxes in Canada is projected to increase 30% over the next 3 years do to Carbon tax. Do I need to say more? #8 - You gave up potato chips and that's bad because? If you pay no taxes then it doesn't matter groceries cost more.
Oh my goodness!! You described exactly what I had in mind. When I heard her say all the reasons why not to move to Caicos I was shocked 😳 I live in Seattle & we pay tax even for using the toilet lol I want to live in a simple & warm place. Done with Washington🥺
Diving is fantastic. Fishing is fantastic. Groceries from the sea and fresh vegetables. It’s what a person is supposed to eat and how to live. I have visited numerous times and will visit again.
This country has been on my mind as I thought about peaceful living, I didn’t even know anything about the country. I decided to do some research and this sounds PERFECT for me!!! Well all except “no cheap groceries”. That sounds concerning 😕

Just GO there for as long as you can afford it,rent a place then later apply to be a Belonger, first have enough money and/or pension to stay forever as this will depend on whether you are approved.Health insurance will of course be required..ANOTHER option is Anguilla & there the beaches are amazing too! The CIBC have banks on both islands so if you have an account before hand that would help..(with proof of income and a healthy balance ofcourse! Good luck! I love both islands

People moving to Turks and Caicos want exactly what you listed. Money won’t be an issue for them, paying no tax, no loud and over crowded beaches. I mean sounds like all the reason why someone would want to move there.
all the reasons mentioned are good reasons for me to relocate to turks and caicos. Even the expensive food wouldn't be a problem because i started Permenant Keto diet along with intermittent fasting. Plus my son told me if i buy some land there i can become a citizen and i'm still checking into that..And clearly the women are beautiful

It’s not sad. People need to know the pros and cons about where they would potentially want to spend a good amount of time there. Not everything is perfect. Some of the things in this list is actually why people would WANT to move here. I speak cuz I’m from TCI too but still. They can leave bad reviews online if we lied to them.... you wouldn’t want that, would you? Not everything in this list is that bad anyway, it’s just general facts and truth.

From someone born and bred in Scotland, where we only have 3 seasons (all except summer) This sounds like bliss to me. I'm an introvert and love chilled laid back living...hate clubbing now. My husband and I are settled with no kids and stuck in this depressing country with constant wind, rain, cold and miserable faces because of the constant grey skies. I'd love to live in the beautiful sunny chilled out life of this idyllic island xx

Don't eat chips 😲. Honestly though, I was surprised by food costs in tci, as a tourist I would stay clear of turks if you're on a budget, although that's gonna change soon I expect. But as a full time, or seasonal resident you can ultimately end up saving, depending on where you're from of course
Yes its about 6-8 dollars for a 2 liter. 8 bucks for a box of cereal. Gas was is around 6-8 a gallon. Very expensive, BUT they give the residents day passes to fly to Miami and nearby places to bring things back.

What? No Tim Horton’s?? 😂😂 Just joking. This is actually great ! No fast food ,no shopping malls ,no crowded beaches ,no taxes… All seem really great. And expensive potato chips may get me to give up my unhealthy addiction as well. It’s unfortunate However, that the produce on the island is very very expensive . I love fruits and vegetables, fruits and vegetables and tons of them so this is the only down part otherwise, the Turks seems like an awesome place. Thank you for this wonderful video.😊
Turks is expensive. We stayed at a condo so we , at times bought food. The prices were insane. I was told because almost everything is imported. No complaints but it’s very laid back. I don’t know if it’s because we went on an off season?We went in July.
