This was the monthly test of the tornado sirens in the City of Warren as well as throughout Trumbull County, Ohio. Tests in Warren (and Trumbull County) typically occur on the First Saturday of each month at noon, weather-permitting. Warren's sirens are on "Tier 3", which are sirens in Trumbull County that are controlled independently by the municipalities they are located in, as opposed to the 911 Center.
Chris (@fumikiri0680 ) and I ventured out to this Roundback located behind the Lincoln K-8 School in Warren back in 2021, after Chris' last attempt in 2018 was foiled by dead batteries. We were not expecting this test to be particularly interesting, but we were surprised when we got not only fresh batteries but 8 RPM, as well. Also featured at the end is an ambience of the county-activated sirens, which appear to feature some of nearby Howland Township and Niles' sirens. Although the wind sort of ruined it, I included it anyways. Enjoy!
