There was only one girl of many from tinder that helped me with through a tough time by poking my brain a little bit... My first love got to the 7th stage within a month, things moved really fast for us. It was a BAD breakup though and very awkward ever since. He married someone else and had children and I didn’t want to have kids. That’s most of the reason why we didn’t work out. That and how fast things went.

I think I’m at stage 3 but honestly we may be more than that but we don’t go on dates because we both believe that it shouldn’t be our priority atm (high school) I share a lot of things with my crush now and we both have a much deeper understanding of each other and connection as well as morals/beliefs alignments. Personally I think it’s more than just a crush and it’s slightly disappointing that we can’t advance just yet. There has never been a time like this or will ever happen to me

I have been with my fiance for a little over 8 years now. I proposed about 8 months ago and it felt like the right thing. But only now am I feeling like were im in stage 7 which doesnt feel great. I know its natural to get cold feet going into marriage but stage 7 is hitting me hard! In the video she notes that it should be obvious if your partner is the right fit. Why do i feel like its not obvious at all? Im also turning 30 so maybe this is also a mini crisis im having about the trajectory of my life. Id say i lean towards the avoidant attachment style in relationships as well.

I wish my relationships would actually spread out longer. Had to forcibly go through almost all stages in under a year. Broke up in late February 2024 during the doubting stage. I was appalled at what I threw myself into what felt like a rush. We could have actually been a year this April. Unfortunately every guy I meet: work, school, dating apps, and through friends....They are want to rush through all stages. They believe all these things are mumbo jumbo. They all say that I'll die an old maid if I live in a "fantasy" Maybe the men in my area suck. Maybe it's this dating age. I don't know anymore. I just really wanted a guy who is patient and is willing to enjoy a smooth relaxing ride until we realize we want to be married and start a family. And even though I am 28, I actually am starting to dislike people more which makes me feel like being an old maid isn't so bad afterall.
