It would be great, if you share one of your favorite quotes on Stoicism

@@upgradeyourmindset1105 I'm not in the business of making top 10 RU-vid videos, so I don't have a list of quotes handy. But there are so many fantastic lessons to be found in stoicism that it seems quiet silly to make a list of "Quotes That You Must Listen Everyday" and then have it all be the same message. “Waking up to who you are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be.” How many people get married because its expected and not for love? or have kids? or do anything? All because they think that's what they are supposed to do. Thats something people struggle with, being true to themselves. I don't have a quote or am good with words myself, but I believe Marcus Aurelius has a meditation on disappointment, that touches upon the idea that people don't betray or disappoint you, you do that to yourself by expecting people to behave how you want and not true to their nature and the frustration/blame lies on you, not them, for not seeing this. For example my disappoint in this list lies on me for expecting more from you, when I should have expected a lazy youtuber to make a lazy list. There literally so many wonderful topics. So I hope this satisfies your passive aggressive remark on what I meant.

@@upgradeyourmindset1105 Sorry, it just came across that way so I got a little defensive, but I think my points are valid, albeit a bit rude which I apologize for. plus another person commented roughly the same thing as you but has since deleted the comment. Love some of your other videos, found some good poetry though your channel which I thank you for and looking forward to the Marcus one.
