@@Monolithsan Yeah, they really need to fix the mana issues with this build. Its like the only healer build i've seen that has glaring mana issues no matter what you do.
Was raiding a bit on my paladin and then switched to shaman again since it was main goal. It's literally lightyears apart the mana issues from paladin and tot shaman. Feels bad man
Good to see that I am not the only one going oom with totemic... Farseer probably would have been better but losing loving totem and surging totem feels too bad. After surging totem, I hate healing rain lol
Would be helpful if you used the streamer addon for Details, or similar - showing actions as you use them! I'm still learning shaman and knowing which buttons you're pressing would be very helpful. Of course one can watch what totems are on the ground, or the cast bar, but for instant spells it's impossible. Thank you!
Hello Hello mister Madz, Just wanted to back seat a bit so on the 3rd boss dps should take the orbs only when the shield is about to be up on the boss since the damage they get is effective mostly on the shield and you should take them outside of shield to buff your healing so you don't have to struggle as much and nuke your mana. For the guy who asked about how to get mana food as healer, there's a trick so you don't have to find mages or waste gold, you can just enter a follower dungeon at the start of each session and there's always a mage NPC that pop a food table at the start of the dungeon and the food stays even if you leave the dungeon
How did it feel? Totemic is a lot more fun to play but mana does seem to be an issue. With work and raid, i havent had a chance to do keys yet, plan to start tonight.
Couple of talent build questions. I opt out primal tide core tide waters and primordial wave. Seems like the keys have been going well but I’ve only gone up to 7 on them so far. Why do you not take mana tide totem? It’s a free chain heal and it gives you mana back. Also spirit walkers tidal totem seems really good too. 3 instant healing surges for half the mana cost is incredible. Why not take reactive warding for the quick spot heal on the tank? It’s a cheap instant spot heal that hits for around 90k (yours might hit harder my gear isn’t amazing)per missing charge. I hear everyone say it’s bad but if you are gonna be spamming that on the tank all the time you might as well get some use out of it. Ive tried the style with primordial wave and it just doesn’t seem that good to me. The setup for it making sure you have all the riptides up then the prim wave then maybe NS if you are trying to be quick and have a tidal wave up for only 40% spread to all players marked seems weak. With so many options with totemic chain heals I feel like the prim wave loses out on shorter CD for healing tide totem and a free chain heal from mana tide totem and the 3 instant casts from spirit walker and the mana regen. Also I forgot about tidebringer. A 1 second chain heal with a tidal wave and if it’s high tide? It just seems so good not to take that. Oh and I forgot about the whirling elements. A .5 second chain heal Thoughts? Does that really fall off that hard in higher keys?
I'm playing Farseer, but I definitely agree with Reactive Warding. It can be a pretty strong burst heal, especially if you queue it right after an Undulation/Unleash Life Healing Surge. I think the reason for not taking Tidal Wave is because dropping totems eats the stacks, as far as I'm aware.
Yup Mana issues with Totemic. Chain Heal is just too expensive. I'm running Farseer at the moment and just spamming riptides and healing surges, hardly any mana issues. Its nice.
I'm playing Farseer Chain heal build and barely have mana problems, except for like 3rd boss Necrotic Wake. I don't know why Totemic feels so bad mana-wise.
I have the biggest tip for you fellow totemic boys .... your HR Totem cost around 240k Mana ... Natures swiftness makes your next spell instant AND COST NO MANA ... You can use it to cast a 0 Mana HR Totem .. you safe so much mana in raid an m+ .... Thank me later... Y i know the totem is instant and this part of natures swiftness is wasted but the your mana will thank you . Basically you can cast every second HR Totem for free
Hey Mad! what is t hat addon or WA pack that gives callouts in female voice? I am using TWW dungeons from Causese and plater from quazii but yours seem different, can you share? :)
@@graemeguthrie8758 I cant push keys without weakauras tracking boss abilities and AoE and plater with scripts for important casts to kick and which ones to let go, as a healer at least from my side :)
@@graemeguthrie8758 then the top1% of players are playing the game wrong :D go watch the highest keys pushers or RWF between echo and liquid, and tell me how they are not using any addons for the raids such as bigwigs, DBM, WA, bosstimers, kaze MRT etc. this game without addons is good for herbalists and fishermen and Normal/HC content, not mythic

Its basically throwing in either Ascendance + Guidance, Healing Tide Totem or Spiritlink with Damage Reduction talent or dropping multiple Healing Streams into a rain. Swiftness with Chainheal or a primordial wave buffed Healing Wave. That said however, i still find it very difficult top top groups in certain keys 5 and higher. People have to stop getting hit by avoidable shit and starting to use personals basically on most unavoiable stuff. And if its only some 45-60s minor CD. F.e. last Boss in Grim Batol just does a shit ton of unavoidable group damage every now and then, when he casts the Shadow Orcan and the 3 people debuff. If you dont have a big CD like Tide or SL to cover that, people have to use big defensives to stay alive, you cant outheal the damage coming in in those 5-6 seconds just with casts
@@MrVaeron For last boss in Grim I do feel like if it went long enough to have no CDs for that mechanic it would be a wipe. The good news is at least at a 6 it was very easy to answer with only 1 CD each time. Tide one, Link one, triple healing stream totems with totemic recall one, Ascendance one. If the boss was still alive, we'd have to all personals I guess or just die lol
