I like how you include deaths in the clips because most tutorials always show thr godlike plays and have the motive of, "if you do this you're good etc." on your side however, it shows that whether pro or not, it really depends on the play of both teams. Doing techniques like this helps a lot but does not guarantee a perfect game as some tutorials suggest. Kudos to you friend!
Solid tips. But the one I expected to be on here that irritates me the most is how many people don't realize that the economy is part of the meta game. Hopping into Unrated and seeing 2 people Ecco, 1 person half buy and another one force buying drives me up there wall! The few times I'm in a 1v4 or 5 and I go to get a few picks to affect their economy instead of saving (generally because I already have a bunch of money to full but again) teammates flip out saying "You really thought you was gonna win that??" 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ I can pretty much guess within a 80% accuracy if we gonna win or not based off of how my team treat their economy and how we move as a unit. That one person who always split pushing for picks every round on attack and think it's benefitting the team when they die right after getting one pick... also drives me up the wall lol
Try walking when on site, the enemy won’t hear you and you can be ready with the element of surprise. I keep forgetting that he says the same stuff but just with a different vid title
Guardian has always been my favorite gun, this buff made me use it a little more often, it feels satisfying to one tap someone from far away with INSANELY accurate shots. It's way quicker than Marshall and Operator
I love the Guardian as a Sage - it lets me hang back a bit ready to use heals or cover retreats, while saving creds for an extra slow orb or 2. As a Jett I like to get one when the knife-shotgun is ready, for pressure at all ranges. As a Raze though, I think the faster fire from the bulldog works better for backing opponents into corners and cubbies, where her utilities work best. I might still get it if holding a long angle is needed to stay unpredictable, or to punish a lack of LOS blocking in the opponent's team comp.
i never realised the peak thing, its actually really smart. if u slow peak an angle thats being held, you will easy be shot down before you even see them. if you jump peak it, you will be a hard target. definitely will use this in games :)
QOTD:I use omen and have constantly been using the guardian in almost every game I play. The spray is so inaccurate that I could be 5 meters away and still miss every shot. For me it's a headshot or you die gun. No way you're gonna get kills through body unless your opponent misses so much they gotta reload.
its insane how accurate this is. i agree with u 100%. This gun , imo , was better before the patch. i think they should reverse the fire rate and keep it as 2500 and wall pen high and it will feel more viable. the guardian become such an impossible weapon to use in close quarters and even long range it struggles a ton.
I think that means that the noise will alert the enemies, and since it’ll take a while to reload your weapon, it means that the enemies can kill you just a second after repositioning. However, I’m not an Omen main...
I can't believe u didn't say how omen is good for repositioning and re-peeking in my opinion omen is the best in this category. His shroud step helps him to reposition without being spotted completely, he also has very good smokes and his flash could also be used in this. Every single ability of omen can do something about repositioning but then why is he not the best character to reposition?
QOTD: I actually liked the guardian better pre patch because although they decreased the price, they reduced the fire rate cap which makes it much harder to hit follow up shots. I’d almost rather have a marshal at this point
QOTD: I feel like the spray should be reduced a bit, either that or the cost should go down to 2,400/2.300, since it's true that it's a one tap machine on long range, but so it's vandal, only difference is that vandal has a decent rate of fire even when zoomed in so you can easily adjust if you miss the first shot, knowing the spray pattern, while with guardin most of the time i find myself able to shoot max twice before getting destroyed in a 1v1 situation and with the spray inconsistency if fired repeatedly or the time that it takes to reset spray before another precise shot, it's hard to predict if the second shot will be precise. Another reason for the price to be lowered is that guardian shines after a pistol round, that would give it a proper use in the game, while as of now it's just a middle ground without a proper identity
you mention at 10:30 that it’s good to have players around you who will give you constructive criticism and i could not agree more!! im so grateful when people tell me what i did wrong and why as long as its not in a hostile manner. but i also think some people need to realize that criticism isnt always meant to come off as hostile; i gave my friend some advice for the game, and he got mad at me and continued to do the same mistake. it just doesnt make sense to act like you know everything when you can always always improve. thanks for the tips!
People who take criticism well are the people who will improve. It's sad to see people playing so poorly and yet so confidently; like do they not realise that they're making mistakes? I love when people tell me what I've done wrong, because at least I know what I can improve on next time. Can't believe there's people who just don't want to get better.
Literally whenever I give a tip to a presumably new player during a game, they just say shut the fuck up kid and bring up my KD. Idk if they genuinely think me giving advice is me trying to be an asshole, but its really sad. Maybe they played csgo with too many toxic kids
Make some videos in how to attack and defend on all maps (general stuff) You can include some default set ups with characters like, Brimstone, Sova, Raze, Phoenix and Sage. I'm saying this because ppl don't know how to attack, making fakes, analyse how the opposing team is defending, which character is where defending, they don't know how to rush for example (a real rush, not stopping when someone dies), slow push controlling a specific part of the map to bait some abilities or even a kill. Also when the spike is planted, know how much time it is and how can you approach etc... I played CS since 1.6 so I know this takes a good part of the game to win. The usage of abilities comes with practice so I'm not that worried with that. Great job guys, keep it up! ;)
QOTD: Ehh the Guardian imo isnt reliable for plenty of reasons cuz unlike weapons like the bulldog or spectre its semiauto which is very punishing of you miss while peeking an enemy with a full auto weapon but maybe this buff will help with that but i still wont buy this gun
So same same? Plus Angle cutting: Prefire/ pre-aim Using skills to advantage Discipline on holding Effective Trading Watching/ reviewing games (pros and yours alike? Correcting/ stealing habits
Omen's also good in repositioning with his blink ability. I always blink behind enemies (or an angle they aren't checking) while trading bullets and they get confused. I find it as an easy way to secure a kill.
Thank you for the feedback! What are some other videos you would prefer? We are always looking to improve our content so these type of comments are well and truly appreciated.
ProGuides Valorant Tips, Tricks and Guides maybe you can do a game analysis? Like a pro player analysis, say why he does this things in different situation, how he plays on that agent, and etc. I think in would one pretty interesting to watch, you can analyze how pro players play and take some ideas from them. Learn different positions, smokes, and wallbangs.
I’m only buying few weapons: ghost (second round mostly), sheriff on losing round, vandal, sometimes, rarely phantom, bulldog on some particular rounds when opponents is so far in game. Mostly it’s about three: vandal, sheriff, classic.
@@ROBAKABIGPAPA omen main here. Jett has to press 1 button and d or a or a to repostion. omen has to put his gun away, wait for the animation, look where he wants to tp,then go through a long animation then pull his gun out while audibly leaving a distinct audio queue while he has his pants down.
QOTD: I think the fire rate nerf kinda ruined it for me. It's a one tap on headshots like the Phantom and Vandal, butthe slight nerf on the fire rate made a big difference for me when trying to correct my second shot. Maybe I just need to get used to the new "beat" that I can fire it but it just suddenly felt really off for me. Used to be my favorite but now I always just default to Phantom.
QOTD: I really don't think it's a buff. Yes the slight cost reduction is nice BUT the Guardian shoots way slower now and since they didn't change the spray pattern it's not like the slow shooting Guardian is as good as shooting slowly with the pre-patch Guardian.
I liked the gun pre patch, the slightly cheaper cost makes it more accessible for a second round buy (you can 2 shot body shot not shield opponents) and occasionally I'll buy it instead of the bulldog on a lighter buy
The first gun that i used consistently was the guardian so i feel a kind of connection to it so i'm glad that they buffed it, but to me, the vandal is better to use still and i don't mind saving a bit more for the vandal.
I think the route the guardian is going it might be really beneficial to those who aim better by tapping. That being said, if youre solid at headshots I do believe the guardian is better because with high wall pent it becomes so much easier to get kills and wall bang. Another factor that goes into this is playstyle, people who play far back and passive will do a lot better since the guardian does less body dmg and rewards less for close combat.
I think the guardian has now become more valuable when it comes to late game close games. At some point in late games both teams are going to be broke at a point so full armor guardian in my opinion can now make you feel comfortable going into a 12-11 match giving you a chance against the best guns
I don't get the shift walking part of this video, he talks about using it to cause distractions but not about what to do about the people holding/watching. So what happens if you're in a situation where you actually need to peek these holders/watchers? Isn't it better to shift walk in those instances? Wouldn't running would let the enemy know u're there? Or should you just ignore peeking altogether? Like imagine 2 v 4 and the 4 have planted the spike. The 2 of you have no useful utility available, what happens then? Run in or shift walk to peek?
I have a problem with my aim, and though I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, I know I get more kills with the ghost than the phantom or vandal. I'm also better at shorty than the bucky or judge. But overall, my best weapon is the stinger, which I use to take down many vandal users as they turn a corner.
Omen isn't a choice in the first technique? Why? Because I believe he can be the most versatile agent for repositioning! I'd like to know why you didn't include him!
ik you guys said that the operator could be talked about for a whole video. and i wanna learn how to use jett more and i see that lots of people use jett and operator so can you make a operator video?
QOTD- I still feel like it costs too much, maybe a little less? In my personal opinion, I feel like bulldog is a better pick for long range if ur not gud at the snipers since the bulldog has a burst that deals a lot of damage with gud aim. Make it cost less then MAYBE I'll buy it.
So i have a strange thing in Valorant ranked, if anyone wants to hear, so i've been trained by my friends in diamond/immortal as a new player (joined in last days of beta, never played csgo or another fps before) and learned a lot of stuff like short peeking always keeping crosshair headshot level, flicks, spray control/transfer etc and i try playing like these famous streamers and then being a silver 1, when I meet iron 2s who run and gun with a horrid crosshair aiming at the floor and bloody headshot me with a stinger i cant react, like am I alone or is that normal ? So much weird unexpected stuff happens there (like a jett double jumping and hovering and spamming Judge) and idk how to react so I can be top fragger in gold games and play well in gold/platinum games but i play like trash when i team up with some iron friends to help them rank up and end up 2nd or 3rd fragger (against beginners)
See a lot of people commenting about Omen being the best agent to reposition. I disagree, in lower ranks his teleportations work 8 times out of 10 in combination with smokes. Don't try to do those cheeky plays in higher ranks because they all expect you to do that. Omen has arguably the best flash in the game and his smokes are also better than Brim's (one ways that last longer than Jett's).
QOTD- it’s not a buff it’s a nerf I can’t use it at close range. Because at least with the op I could one shot them. With the garudian if some one gets me buy surprise I have to get a lucky headshot. Yeah I like the price change but the fire rate is to low for me. It was one of my favorite gun because of the versatility with far and close range. Now it’s just long range. It’s make sense to buy a marshal instead. It’s more spammable and the damage is better. I wish the just reduced the price and nothing else.
It depends on what setup you want to have when defending the spike. For example on Haven C site, brimstone's love to plant right in front of long so they can stay in the cubby and shoot the molly on the spike. It's kind of obvious though especially if they are nowhere else on the site. If you're playing sova and there's not much time left on the defuser you can leave the site entirely and kill the defusing enemy with your ult and you will win as long as there isn't enough time for a second person to defuse. You should get pretty creative with it.
I think that the guardian buff solidified it's role as a long range marksman weapon. I have been using it in mid on accent when I know the opponents don't have an operator. But I think that it is still not as versatile as the vandal and phantom. Overall I would take bulldog and utility over a guardian.
I have a 4gb ram no GPU . Intel Pentium g 4400. Playing valo in lowest setting with 20-40 fps, I am in platinum 1. Can I buy a gaming pc setup for competitive or not?
If you see someone flashing just look away form the flash. If you look at the flash you'll get the full duration and be flashed for long time, if you don't look at it, it only flashes you for a split second. If you see that your team mate is playing a character that has flashes that can blind you, then either play behind him so you don't get flashed, or be ready to react to his flashes.
That's called trigger discipline, when people are attacking or retaking a site stacked, if the first players forgets to check a specific angle then the players behind them get a false sense of security that the same angle is safe and push forward without checking it thus the player holding the angle can get 2-3 highly important kills, now if that breach wouldn't have cleared the angle like jett didn't sage would have got 2 kills, and if the sage would have attacked jett right away then the breach would have gotten aware of the sages presence and would have killed her right away, this time breach cleared the angle but that was what the sage was doing!
