The family annihilator story ..is so heartbreaking...i don't understand these men and women who murder their entire family and act like nothing happened.... this really got to me...
I can tell that the first guy definitely used his story to get some "humble" brags in. He kept finding reasons to talk about being a good person. 😂 Great stories though. 😊
as a recent inhibitor of the south and seeing waffle houses EVERYWHERE, i couldn't be more excited for to see this now i gotta go for myself!!!!!!!!!!!!
You won't be disappointed. And keep your back to the wall & know your exit location.. just saying.. the place can be as dicey as the onions 😂 Excellent hash browns, try a double order smothered & covered. Or a pecan waffle... or the pork chop platter..
Same I lived in Savannah and on the outskirts there are soo many. Waffle House rules. I think going to there with some good friends after drinking all night is a must for the college experience 😂
I moved from the northeast to the south of the US and there's no place more southern or more eerie than a Waffle House in the middle of the night. Nothing creeps me out more than the hazy yellow glow inside a Waffle House at 2 am and the feeling of being super exposed under it cause everything and everyone out in the dark can see you crystal-clear through all those windows.
I’m Australian, I saw this and thought hmmmm ,waffles we don’t have waffle houses here ..listened to the video…..yeah don’t think we need a waffle house.
I'm 45 almost 46. I have my whole life and currently go to Waffle House on a regular basis and have never witnessed anything horrific. The worst I have seen is a guy passed out at a booth one morning at like 4 am when I was meeting my wife when she got off of work early.
They are notorious for fights breaking out. Especially after 3am in my area when the clubs and bars close. 😂 Those hashbrowns are worth the risk, though. Smothered and covered, baby!!
Wow ! You did an amazing job on the last story. So much information and detail and done so respectfully. The last piece of information was such a solid tie in and an excellent piece of information to end with. Just really nice story telling job!
Joel you are absolutely the number 1 narrator on RU-vid. I mean I listen to several awesome storytellers but you’re number 1. You’re better than McBallen.
Thank you sincerely for all the hard work you put into making these dark and entertaining videos ..the amount you create for us is brilliant .I was in hospital for 20 months ( I'm disabled & caught Covid in hospital in September 2022..5 more episodes of pneumonia, and losing my vision in one eye ..your videos kept me going through some very dark lonely times.Lazy Maquerade and yourself are my favourite narrators..I will admit though I do slow the speed of your voice down slightly ...my English hearing can concentrate better at that speed..thank you xx
Let's Read Let's Go!! My BFF works at waffle house!! 2 yrs ago a fugitive ran into her work & held em up at pew pew point. 45 min in he tried sneaking out the back & the cops got em!! Glad BFF & coworkers were ok but later found out old dude unalived his neighbor at his apartment complex nearby.
Joel thank you for these stories. In the most non creepy way your voice is like an obsession. Please don't ever stop. I need these stories. I need your voice in a purely innocent it puts me to sleep kind of way.
Craig Brewer, 41, left behind a 2 year old Son and an 11 month old daughter at the time of the shooting, working as an installer at a tiling company in Gainsville, it was said that it was normal to see him footing the bill around his community and that he was seen as somewhat of a mentor to some of the local young men. Both Brewer and Hicks ( the 25 year old shooter ) have past criminal records. Brewer served nearly a decade in prison after being convicted of charges related to the possession and sale of cocaine, Hicks was arrested on drug charges in April 2017 but was spared prison time by entering a pretrial diversion program.
I've never been to Waffle House, but I have been to IHOP. Out of all the times I've been there, I've never had any issues with the food or the people, except for a few weeks ago I wanted to throw hands with my server because he called me a child...and I'm 23. The curse of looking young for your age.
!!! 😂 I'm *59* and was at the Goodwill the other day. I picked up a couple items and the cashier asked me if I were over the "55 Club." "Oh, yeah," I responded. "I'm *FIFTY-SEVEN!* Whaaah?!! I freaked out, fully aware all of a sudden that I totally gave her my inaccurate age! I asked her if she wanted my license, but she was ok. I got my discount and that was that.
@karaamundson3964 Yeah my family and I were finishing up to leave when our server walked by when my dad flipped over the bill to me and said "Here you go :)" so the server said something like "Ah, classic move. Making the child pay." I was honestly pretty bitter, because he actually looked younger than me
Note to self: Never dine or work at a Waffle House 😅 The story with the man that offed his entire family is wild! He definitely wanted to enjoy one last good meal before he lost his freedom. What a POS.
