The hospitality industry is always hiring. Casinos always need help serving, bartending, bottle service, bussing, etc. on and off the strip I would start there!

How did you find your apartment? Every place I see has bad reviews

Unless you are making at least 65000 dollars a year you will struggle in Las Vegas and even 65000 is to low

@@kristinaalexa21 I used to live off Tropicana and Jones, got there in 94...it was good there back then.

​@@Thedesertguy75Rents are over $1,000 a month near W Tropicana & Jones now, the biggest negative since the early 2000s is locals with incomes under $60k annually have been priced out of the housing market. If you're income is less than $40k, you've been priced out of the rental market. Deep pocketed newcomers are able to pay $400k for a house or $1,500 a month for a studio apartment.

@Kristina Alexa I just got it less than a month ago, buy not too far from strip. I may want to take equity from there and buy another one in Vegas or Texas. I recently moved from California to Texas. So, I want to see what's the best option for me when I'm ready to do it.

Welcome to the club! I moved from San Diego area. To be honest with you I got a job within a month of moving here. This was in 2020 before I became an agent. I understand it can be intimidating, remember to come from an abundance mindset.

@@kristinaalexa21 I’m a be lookin to rent just to get settle in but definitely down road definitely want to look at a house down road I’ll let you. Know. I know by law. You cant help us with looking at rental places such as apartments. but over all is Summerlin good place to look at for renting. if you had to say ?? I dont know many places just Henderson and Summerlin is all I hear about. But not familiar with either just hear the name haha.

Curious how did everything go? You gotta push these hiring manangers to do virtual interviews. It’s absurd to expect someone to fly out for an interview. Unless you’re a VP or Director level.

@@TrumpyBooden Well the main security job I wanted (I have the experience probably more qualified than most for an armed security job but they were strict on stuff being armed etc). they didn't end up moving forward with me. I think part of it was I needed at least 2-3 weeks to fully go back to pack and move. I actually needed more time than I thought. but I got a second interview with a less-paying job while I came out (in March) they held on to my paperwork and said once I move to call them and they called me as I was on my way I was less than 100 miles until Vegas funny enough. I started within 2 weeks of being here. The moral of the story is, I got an armed security position with this casino in downtown Vegas, and fully certified, and am starting to save money again vs being in Chicago. I may try to reapply with this other company that didn't seem interested in me at first. the nice thing about casinos is that their security is private. because their property is privately owned. so they don't go thru the Nevada state licensing that you have to go thru if you go with private security. altho the takeback is it's less pay at casinos vs private it seems but they do their own armed guard training /academy. but I'm happy for now where I'm at.

Honestly it really depends on other terms in the offer and how quickly the seller wants to move. Typically not TOO much below asking, I would say anywhere between $10,000-$40,000 however other facts impact this such as market conditions. During Spring or Summer markets even cash offers are paying asking price or just below it. Winter and fall markets move a little slower and that's where the most savings could be found.

Hey! I would use apartments . com Unfortunatley in the state of NV real estate agents are not allowed to service apartment buildings. I do hear you when you say most apartments have awful reviews. I would say to consided that mostly those tenants with poor experiences are going to leave a review and not the good ones.

Yep you should. I’m all about supporting the up and coming channels! I’m in awe of the brave people putting themselves out there with RU-vid content. Showing their personality and risking the haters! I used to live in LV (Rhodes Ranch). Hoping to move back in 1-2 years into a high-rise residential tower on the Strip. Networking is a super underrated advantage of Vegas. If you take risks chatting ppl up (as I do) you can meet ppl who can open doors for you and change your life for the positive. 😬
