Hi. Thanks for reaching out. Please it takes at least 3 months for the embassy to process your documents.please give the embassy some time. If it is more than 3 months you submitted your documents then you can contact the embassy. Alternatively, you can contact the embassy now provided lectures have began and for that matter you need to be in Germany. Only in that case you may contact them to quickly process your documents. Hi dear, Thanks for the compliment. I actually know many people who appealed and got their visas. Actually the duration depends on how soon you the applicant put in the appeal. The embassy should not take less than 3 months to finish the process. NB: Within this period the school in question should be able to still assure you that you can still catch up with lectures. Sometimes the university can tell you , you have wasted too much time . In this case even if you appeal you will not be granted the visa since the university will not give you a positive answer. Now if the embassy does not reply, please check the telephone number and call them directly. Sometimes due to the huge number of applicants they try to avoid calls and response to emails. If this is your case however, keep calling them. Do not give up. For the emails just have patience until they answer. I hope your questions have been answered. Hi again Alphonsine, I have a second question, my Masters degree is suppose to be a 2 year program. Instead i received a provisional admission letter + enrolment certificate indicating only 1 semester (that is for Winter Intake 2023 only - classes starting this October) Inshort the University has not indicated that it is a 2 year program in the admission letter, instead they have indicated 1st semester only. Do you know if this is common ? I have also emailed my University and waiting for their reply.
Ok. This is not common. That’s my first time. Normally they do that for preparatory courses. If yours is not a preparatory course, then please tell the interviewer your situation. In most cases they will give you Time (with a Deadline) to take the admission letter from the university and bring it to them. That I am very sure. Please put pressure on the university to send the Admission letter to you. Sometimes the students are many and they kind get confused.
Hello, I went for my interview and i was told to go for my bece cert with DOB on it in 2 weeks time..i went to my jss for it and found out the DOB is different from my birth certificate. Is it ok to swear an affidavit and attached it and send it to the embassy? Or its too late for that .
Hi dear Thanks for the question. First of all I would like to congratulate you on you interview. The fact that the embassy has asked you to bring the BECE cert means it is positive. Yes. You can swear an affidavit and attach it to the BECE certificate. Incase you are being asked by the embassy about discrepancies in DOB you can tell them it is the fault of your school or the issuing certificate body ( I do not know if it is WAEC). And since the certificate is delivered just once it cannot be changed. That’s why you have swore an affidavit to really proof that the date of birth on the cert is wrong. Hi , thanks for reaching out. Am so sorry you have waited that long and have not gotten your visa. Please is it possible you reach out to the embassy? It is actually possible to find out your visa status at this point because it’s way too long. With the school , it has not given you a positive response. Do not show this message from the school to the embassy. Rather, send a mail to the school and explain your situation , if they could possibly extend the enrolment for you. Most schools do that a lot because they are aware of the complications in visa processes. It is when you have a positive response from the school you can then forward it to the embassy . I know it is very stressful for embassies to even pick your call or reply your mail. But you are trapped now, so do whatever it is , call several times, if they don’t pick up send them a mail. The question is; if I have to pay tuition fee for the school I have been admitted, do I have to show proof of fund for the fees and the blocked account amount? For my school, the total tuition fee for the whole academic year is €10,000 and I have to pay an initial amount of €2000 in Ghana after I get admission. The rest of the feed is to be paid in installments when I get to Germany. So for this situation, will they ask me at the embassy on how to find the rest of the fees after I provide the blocked account? If yes how should I answer the question ?
@@jonesansong1222 hmmm this thing is very complicated. At first you could just show proof of blocked account for just the first year and the visa would be issued for tution free students. But now after blocking for the first year , it is advisable your account shows the amount for the subsequent year even when you are on tuition free. In your case you really need a substantial amount in your account plus the blocked one. If you cannot proof the amount for the subsequent year and the rest of the tution fee which is 8000 euros, the best thing you can say is that your sponsor has assured you that he will transfer the money every month to you. NB: please not that if you are to pay that huge amount as tution fee and if you really do not have a sponsor it will be very tough for you here. Then you have to work full time when you arrive in Germany . You will have limited time for your studies. So I always advise people to just apply for tuition free courses. But all the same I hope with the above answer you could be given the visa. Please this is just an advice. If you need concrete information please visit the embassy’s website. I did my interview 8 weeks ago and the embassy took just my documents without the passport unlike for others and they just called me to come in three days time to fill some documents.

please with the blocked account , check my video (best blocked account for students) i have given the advantages of all blocked accounts. It will guide you to choose what you want. for your late arrival, you cam register a module only if it will be done online. If it will be done in presence i do not think it will be ideal for you to register because you will not be able to attend lectures. in this case i will suggest you wait when you get to germany then you register for the module. It also dependes on the university. Some universities allow you to register a module and write the exams the time you like, others also will need you to write the exams as long as you have registered for the module after the semester. If your university has flexible exams rules then you can go ahead and register, if not then i would advise to wait. I hope i helped

If yes a possible question you will be asked is why then do you still want to pursue the same course again? If no, then you have to state in your motivational letter why you have branched into another field. A possible question from the embassy will be why don’t you want to continue in your first bachelors degree? Why the change?. NB: please note that these Are possible questions you could be asked per my experience. It might be that you will not be asked any of these questions but just prepare

Do you know if its safe to go with receipt of bank payment indicating i transfered money to my blocked account? (to go with it to the embassy for my student interview) I am asking this because i dont have the confirmation of payment document from Expatrio yet, and i have already run out of time. Thank you. Hi dear, I would advise you send a mail to Expatrio and Tell them your Situation. Note the following: 1. It should not take time for expatrio to send you the document. It’s just some few minutes thing. 2. when was the transfer made? 3. how long does it take your local Bank to process international Transfers. This you should find out from the bank. 3. Has expatrio really confirmed the funds have been received and they have not provided proof of that? 4. Normally local banks take lots of time to process international transfers, some will not even care to discuss with their customers how the process goes!!! Now with mine , it took my local bank 1 month to finish with the process before Coracle told me they had received the funds!!! You see😊😊😊 My advice: Contact your local bank and check if expatrio has really received the funds. If yes, tell them you need proof for your interview. If no, send the receipt which proofs you made the transfer to the embassy. Normally if you get a good visa interviewer, he or she will ask your to send your remaining documents later to him via mail or in person as soon as you get them.
