Took delivery on MYP yesterday. Drove it 7 miles to my vinyl wrap shop. They started the wrap and tenting today. Can not wait to get it on the road Friday morning. I'v got all of the accessories you mentioned.
I ordered my model Y last night, and they wanted me to pick it up today (Saturday) or by Wednesday. The charger hasn't even shipped yet, they would not budge on the delivery day. I had to put my order on hold. It's crazy to get an EV without a charger.
I just ordered a Model Y in Belgium, and they include in the delivery a mobile connector, a type 2 CCS cable and, what they call here, the "legal kit" (reflective triangle for road side malfunction of the car, a reflective vest, and a first aid kit). My guess is that that's the case all over the EU. I plan to get a wall charger. It's at 500 euros plus installation.
Hi Mike love your videos and info. I'm waiting for my Tesla delivery date can't wait. Just curious why you need to have your phone in a phone holder. I would have thought you could access everything from the main car screen?
Most Tesla owners use a phone holder because you can get access to better map apps like Apple Maps and Waze which isn't available on the teslas screen, also Teslas dont use apple carplay or android auto, therefore if you have your phone put away you will miss out on important notifications while driving. Fun Fact: Aftermarket Phone Holders are in the Top 5 most purchased Tesla accessories!
So I’m trading in and Tesla gave me a date range for delivery. For insurance registration I should wait until I’m given a delivery date to insure the car correct? And I’m assuming I should setup the insurance while at the delivery location?
I'd wait to get a date because you need the VIN for the insurance. It's best to add insurance before you pick up the car because the delivery process isn't like regular car dealerships. You'll basically get there, be given a key, and leave. It's a 10-minute process.
You need to contact your electric company and see if they offer rebates for EV charger installs, if they do you will just submit a application, if approved you’ll be sent a refund
@@MikeSeuss No, I had a door handle, door panel alignment issue, reported on day 3, had a service center appointment a couple weeks later, got a tesla loaner for a half a day while they fixed it.
