People dont understand that prince was never a singer. He was a human instrument He sang like his guitar and melody like his piano. That is why his way of singing was so unique.

Not just his singing, but him in general. He was way ahead of his time not just musically but he was wise to the "industry".. That's why his estate has all hia music still.. He never "sold out".. If he needed too, he could play and record everything himself

I have seen Hendrix( Devonshire downs) in late 60's. I have seen Steve Vai,Carlos Santana, Eddie van Halen, Neal Schon. Jimmy Page, Roy Gallagher,Jerry Garcia, and I have seen this man, Prince. Gotta say he is often in my mind as the greatest guitarist of our time. What a gift this man gave to us so freely. Absolutely epic work effort to deliver that gift for all of us to enjoy and savor always. Bless you Prince forever and a day. Xo Ziggy

As a singer and a musician...I can say that Prince didn't go down to the cross roads to make a deal.. Any deal he made..you can rest assured that they came to his house and brought cheese 🧀, wine 🍷 caviar and, his MASTERS. He is such an amazing musician and human being. I am a grown ass man and I miss him so much. A part of my life is missing without him. I just want him to come home. He can do it, if there was a need for him to come back for us to heal he can do it. I think God would bless him to come back. I’m so wishful thinking right now

I live 15 min from Paisley Park. Every day I hope I will see him on his bike, or have him come to my house to talk about Jehovah. A few months before he left us, the witnesses came by my house. I told them I would invite them in for as long as they would like- if they brought Prince with them. They said they would. I believe one day he will be here.

It's a shame how overlooked his guitar chops was, generally being put in the pop star category of MJ and Madonna, which isn't a bad thing! But his virtuosity could be in the same league as Hendrix, Santana or Van Halen! He could cater to the pop audience AND be a true mucisian!!!💜💜💜💜

I miss him like the flowers need the rain. I miss him every day. I live 15 min from Paisley Park & I miss his after hour shows there. He’d call & we would go. There is NOTHING like seeing him perform live, in his home. He is still in Chanhassen. I walk by slowly & think I can almost hear him call my name. I turn around & its just the whisper of the rain. I know how lucky I am.
