Hey friends! Here's the long-awaited long-distance relationship (LDR) video so many of you have been messaging me about. Whether you or your significant other are going to the Academy, the military, away for college, or for work -- it doesn't matter. If both of you agree on committing to something more than just a fling, then it is certainly worthwhile to pursue it, no matter the distance.
Yes, this isn't your typical military video -- however, it is a huge part of your life before, during, and after your military career.
Here are my top 8 tips/hacks for LDR in this video:

8. Set Realistic Expectations
A reminder that not all of these hacks or tips work for everyone. These were some of the things Tuyen and I found helpful for us. Christine same! He’s also deployed so he works nights and sleeps days so it’s hard and we went 24hours without talking and I went crazy smh 🤦‍♀️ then he told me he hadn’t slept and there was a sandstorm and all these other things

Thank you so much. This helped me so much. Boyfriend left to his first duty station half way across the country. And its been a hard time of adjustment to long distance. This helped so much!!Its been super hard but we are trying to find ways to adjust. Thank you for these tips.

This video helped me alot I never expected a LDR to be easy but I also didn't expect it to be so hard. With him being in the military sometimes it's hard to get in contact not to mention the time difference we are highschool sweethearts so It was difficult adjusting from seeing each other basically everyday to maybe every 6 months. Honestly I think if you can make it long distance you guys can make it no matter what.

This was a great video with some really helpful tips. My girlfriend is currently a plebe at West Point and dating a cadet is not easy by any means, but I have found that meeting these 8 aspects of a relationship can make things much more enjoyable. Good to watch the video i ve been in relationship with a US military now for 1year and 3 months i m French he text me twice a day since the beguining its has been up and down but still we very much in Love ! I never had him on phone or saw him in real as he isn t allow too ( He is on specials missions ) he sent me photos and as he is on the other side of the planet our hours aren t the same when he calls me (1 am for me and midday ) He always want to know about my day how was my night did i ate proply .....Anyway we can t wait to be with each other .........You are right patiente is one of the key and communication another one ..Courage and sacrifices ..We share a lot emotionnaly too ......He can t wait to flight to me ......Thank to read my story

Heya man, my boyfriend just joined the navy. Yes hes currently doin his BCT, Later on he's gonna be going on a 4 year contract, I have about 3months until he's off for the navy. It's gonna be hard to communicate as he can't take any form of communication on to a base/ship. Well not that I know off. I live in the UK, and he's American. My man is deployed and I haven't heard him over a week. Is this normal? My first time being with military guy who is deployed. I miss him and I am just worried about him. I am a worry wart myself. Your video has calm me down a bit.

Tell he about his mil address and do a Videochat with you .if he refuse he is a scammer. I live in malta my fiancer is in the US Army he is now in afganistan we facetime when its possible .he give me his mil address
