This is superb information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this? Do you trade on your own?
@@CurtisStammer Thanks for this tip. I just Googled her name and her website came up right away. It looks interesting so far. I booked a call with her and She responded right away. She is a genius.
Hey Mark. I'm 16 and I just started a watch business and I'm going to an entrepreneur school after the summer holidays. Your videos and advice has really helped me. Thank you for spending your time teaching us what traditional schools won't.
Can you tell me a little bit about watches? personally? i wanted to learn about them one-to-one but where im from physically its quite not applicable (though online is possible)
@@sameerranabhat2878 Well I'm not really an expert at all and have just been inspired by a guy named Nico Leonard on RU-vid. What do you wanna know about them? Like how they're made or the history of watches?
@@justinaccount9920 We are still just purchasing packaging and some watches. That stuff is pretty expensive but I got some people that are in the process of getting it for me cheaper :)
I quit smoking weed, drinking alcohol and caffiene 25 days ago and IMMEDIATELY became dissatisfied with my life, so that same day i got a membership to a climbing gym and found Mark's youtube channel a few days later. I now realize these substances were holding me back, and i feel so young again! Im almost 28 and im applying to start my own small starter business! Quitting these substances was the best thing ive done for myself in years
Mark currently I have around 10-11 months of saving. I'm on the lookout for a new job and currently in my final year of high school. Just wanted to thank you for all your videos since they've changed my views on money and I can't wait till I turn 18 this year so I can start investing!
@@SRXquiz well I moved to Australia last year so it's a whole new environment. I've now adjusted and I have a few months left to turn 18 so I might as well wait.
Start by just getting a job and learn how to handle the money you earn. It does not matter what kind of job. learn to save first. Discipline is key. When I was younger I just burned all my money away and lost a good 7 years of learning how to handle money. I'm 25 years old now. Go to work in a store delivering food or mail or in a restaurant. The first step is not your last step. (Edit: keep me updated please ❤)
My opinion for young people is you need to be both a dividend investor and a growth investor, basically how i made my first million also i use an FA James Fletcher Brennan. For example if I just got a 1000% gain on Tesla and then pulled 85% of the money out and went into a load of more stable dividend stocks like CVX So I would say diversify, but also use those growth opportunities to build the capital to invest in the dividend payers (or in cash flowing real estate)
Biggest lesson i learnt in 2022 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge kids
This man is so damn realistic, funny and just an all around amazing man. You’re videos not only give me great advice but provide me with one hell of a laugh. 🎉
I'd recommend staying below 25% credit utilisation. When I turned 18 I managed to get a credit card albeit a low credit limit of £120. I was gonna spend about £50 per month on it and pay it off to increase my score but because my utilisation was above 25% I took a hit on my score so it kinda backfired haha
I am 17, almost 18 and thanks to your videos one of the first things I will do after turning 18 is opening an ETF account to make it grow until my 60s, thanks again mark!!💯
This is incredible, I was trying to be comic artist and start my own comic book, however I knew the chances of me blowing up was very little. So I decided to take advantage of my interest in twitch. I start with streaming what I already play. Yes wasting time on games, however I'll make sure I put a specific amount of time into it to still benefit from gaming and stream the appropriate hours. Then, using clips from the same stream, saving me time from recording a whole new video, to upload on my TikTok and RU-vid Shorts. I started to get more into this strategy and hope that soon, I will gain enough recognition and do a self promotion on my comic story. All this, while I have to work from 8 to 6 with my dad.
Totally like your content Mark. Have been following you since I turned 12, am 14 currently. Can you also start a playlist for teenagers to learn saving and investing while also fulfilling their dreams and enjoying their life. It would be really helpful.
@@ItIsAspect if you are over 13, just ask your parents for a bank account, I was scared that they were not going to allow but if you can convince them that you are trying to start investing, they might just allow (tip, ask your parents for a bank account around your birthday or Christmas and they might be fine with it and consider it as a gift. it's what I did and it worked perfectly)
@@ItIsAspect Well you can have a custodial account for investment in many countries. And No, I don't make money online, but I do some side hustles. For Eg, A friend of mine liked a certain snack which is not available in our town. I was in another town, where it was available. I bought it and sold it to him at a 33% hike, making a 25% profit. I have also recently sourced some places where I can buy the snack for a 33% lesser price, which will give me 40% profit. And I can sell at least 30-40 of them every week
Hey Mark ! I have a doubt at the 8th point . Sometimes some projects at first do not seem to work , but after a while , like at certain market situations there is a potential for profit eh ? What are your thoughts on that ? Is it worth the risk ? - from an inspired teen

Hi Mark, I'm an 18 year old finishing school this year but looking to raise investment to get a professional to finish off the web development I have started for a business idea. Do you have any tips on how to go about gaining investment for the first time?
mark ive been researching stocks alot and i need to make alot of money and i need to retire my mother ive been looking around the world and reminding myself how much money there is in the world and it inspires me so much to make money... my father died and when i turn 18 im gonna be given an inheritance of a couple thousand dollars. im not sure what should i do. should i invest all of my money? should i invest in myself and learn skills i can sell? im lost
Hi, what you should do depends on yourself, personally I never have any problem investing in myself as this can return 100% , I would always say to start your index fund investing but at 18 you can start with just a few hundred dollars a month, lastly I wouldn’t be in a hurry to make your money, work hard and invest in your future when you are ready. Thanks for watching. MT 😎
Thanks Mark for the amazing advice! I am fourteen years old and my parents thought me what investing was when it was 2020 and I am fourteen now and I have been researching a lot thanks!!
Set up a Roth IRA and when possible, sign up for an HSA (probably through employer). Budget your income so every year so you max out your contributions. The IRA alone can be over $500 a month. Of course, always put money aside into savings. If you have money left over to invest, then look into other investment opportunities, such as ETF's. If you don't, do not worry. As long as you can max out your Roth IRA and HSA every year, you can easily retire with over a million dollars. As a teen, don't worry about stocks or real estate unless you have extra money. Just max out an Roth IRA and HSA. As you get older (and hopefully get more money), then you can focus on other investments.
No bruh, instead of worrying about saving every little thing to invest right now. You should use that money to invest in your KNOWLEDGE and make even more money, then max it out. Remember, people don’t get rich by investing, they STAY rich investing when they are already making the big bucks, they use investing as a reservation for their money and have it work for thwm
@@ivanhernandez7395 Investments are not guaranteed to make money. Even the safest investments can fail, including KNOWLEDGE. When it comes to IRA's or HSA's, you can only put in so much every year. Every year you don't invest, you miss out. When you reach retirement, that could be hundreds of thousands of dollars missed of tax-free earnings. You're delusional to not focus on them first since you can't make up any you missed.
I'm 14 years old and I make around 300 euros per month working at a restaurant. When I grow up, I wanna be a Police officer, but I don't wanna live a boring life where I just work and go to bed every day. I actually wanna have a good life with a cool car and make a real difference. But let's face it, investing won't make you rich unless you're already loaded. It's like they say, "the rich get richer." I don't wanna own a company that leaves me with no options.
I KNOW A TAXI 🚕 AND NON ACTIVE NATIONAL GUARD. Only emergency’s like HURACANE MARÍA, HE SAID HE GOT VERY WELL PAID FOR MOVING PACKAGES 📦 FROM A CITY TO ANOTHER IN A HELICOPTER 🚁
Hi, if you’re so positive then you won’t let yourself go bankrupt and if you can’t do anything about it then I am sure you can find a way back. Staying positive and taking action are the key to financial success. MT 😎
The video is really informative; The 8 point Be a quitter is really applicable to my current standard of living and ill have to do it Thank you ps: the "8" point is displayed as "7"

Wow, these are some amazing tips for teens to become millionaires! I wish I had access to this kind of advice when I was younger. Starting early is definitely key, and these tips provide some great ideas to get started.
Im 17, and I am feeling really stressed about my future Mark, I’m into IT and Finance (I like Stocks) but thing is, idk what to choose. I watch your videos and gain some ideas, thank you 🙏🏻
7 hits hard. for investing, I typically have a risky theory thats GENERALLY paid off. I call it the "bounce theory" - a stock rises one day, then dips the next, or vice versa. without "bad' news surrounding the investment, typically it will reverse the next day. wellllll....I tried that with Target stock and they got hit with a couple bad news stories over the course of the time I had it. I thought I was getting it at a premium. Eventually I just sold it off, moved it Ford, and we're off to the races now baby. just a tough unintuitive lesson for most people. the opportunity cost is REAL.
"If you're a teenager in 2023, becoming a millionaire is simple." People who are 18 years old in 2023: Well I guess i'm not becoming a millionaire then.
Intresting how you say avoid saving and actually invest in new opportunities. Very contradictory to what most people say who create some fantasy’s that locking $50k a year away will make you wealthy then that assets real worth is dropping 10%+ a year
It's all about how you invest your money and what your returns can/will be. If your job doesn't offer you enough, your return on invest of intellect yourself will be high. If you make enough and invest your money will in watches, your return will be high. Stocks can do the same, you have to make the right investments and depends on what suits you.
and another question what are those skills which we need that after learning it we can sell it i have seen many videos Thay say video editing, copywriting, developer but I can find many varieties as you are being a millionaire with grate experience in many industries what do you prefer or more underrated industry that we can make it big in the end or the industries no one talks about but its profitable.
HOW MANY millions of KIDS wanted to be a pro athlete?...and nearly every one of them DIDN'T. The odds are SO slim. Most PEOPLE, should probably do nearly the opposite of these 8 TIPS and just live a content middle-class life.
Hey Mark if you know how to become a millioner in 2023 why do you still make videos? You are obviously a millioner and you can become a milliarder by using the same approach as you recommend the teenagers to become a millioner. 🤔
Hi, I make videos because I love working with my son and helping open other people’s eyes to what is possible. I still run my other businesses and have a very nice income. When you get older giving your knowledge for free is very rewarding. Thanks for watching. MT 😎
