He put an Xbox 360 controller as the image and showed the dpad as being the left thumb stick. The man was just a bit out of the loop on all things gaming is all. No harm just funny.
My man literally got a job putting red circles over shit In photoshop making more than I ever have in a paycheck, and not only does he not circle the joystick, it’s a controller modern gamers won’t even recognize. There are kids in high school too young for 360.. smdh… if you want someone competent hmu
Frosty was that cracked in H5, the guy used to stand still and hit all his shots whilst the other guy was trying his hardest to bust out the nerdiest crouch strafe.
jiggle peeking is almost pointless with the desync in this game. I have multiple clips where I clearly hit the enemy with every shot on my point of view, but the rest of the game is like "why do you keep shooting the wall man, you good?"
Sorry bro, usually you are right but the pros will disagree or perhaps you misspoke but you need to aim with your left stick primarily and make micro adjustments with your right stick. Watch Frosty, Lucid, they have their pre-aim with their right stick then in a gun fight they simply copy the other players movements and typically move the right stick for small adjustments and to hit the head shot.
That's literally what he says in the video though. The video clearly states make micro adjustments with your left stick (e.g. movement) and major adjustments, like when they jump with the right stick. You're just using two synonyms, basically making a distinction without a difference, to say the samething different. You're both saying the same thing, just the video doesn't mention the middle (minor adjustments for headshots). He's just getting a point across while not going into as much detail is required. Remember these videos are never in depth. Just general meta advice
Regardless, this advice might confuse some. If you listen to the Pros they would literally say aim with your ‘left’ stick and micro-adjust with your right. Using the opposite way to describe what is intended to be the same thing is only going to confuse people. Based on the way he said it, I still think it is confusing but I’m thinking perhaps unintentional.
Also one is not making micro-adjustments with their left stick. Ones left stick is to track the opponent’s strafe. The left stick cannot micro-adjust to the head or for any verticality unless you are physically on an incline. I’m not trying to contradict Coach Mills for the sake of contradiction. But it’s important people don’t get sent off track and use their right sticks the whole time trying to track a strafing, crouching, jumping player. If they do their aim will be all over the place thinking this is how they are supposed to use their right stick.
@@MichaelW17186 you may just want to listen to the video again. He says what you say just in a different way. It really is a difference without a distinction. He even talks about making finer adjustments with the right. The issue he touches upon is that too many people use too much right stick to aim. They're touching it too much and it throws off their aim. Just as you said, you use the left stick to try and match movement ("aim") and make major movements with the right (jumping opponents), the video then states use the right stick to also make finer adjustments for the head. Again, the video is just making a point with solid advice. You are as well. But, again it's just a difference without a distinction
Guaranteed method of getting 100% accuracy every game: Step one: shoot someone once Step two: never shoot, grenade or melee again Step 3: enjoy your 100% accuracy
Good video man. Very important you noted not to copy other's settings/deadzones exactly. Some players still believe they'll become Ola' by simply copying him and other pros. My advice is to get your deadzones right and then go from there. Slow and steady CAN win the race.
if there is a lot of enemies, and you have a one tap weapon just peak and headshot, its not too difficult(skewer, sniper, shock rifle, not rpg cuz delay)
holy shit my aim got so much better in one match when i changed my sense, it was so little shake compared to my old sense (2.2 and 900 dpi) the only problem im having is doing full 360s and snapping to headshots in tactical slayer, also i couldnt ninja cuz i cant look down fast enough, hoping to get a controller soon, so ill see how it goes
I managed to get to diamond 4 with just over 600 ping on MnK open. My goal is to hit onyx because I like to think that I’d be the first person in the world to hit onyx with 600+ ping.
And before anyone says “get better internet”. I literally can’t. I live in Northern Canada, a territory called Nunavut. Where it’s only satellite internet only and there’s really only 1 ISP. I did pre order Starlink, but that’ll be months before I get it, maybe even by the end of the year.
I'm betting you failed to mention the height of the desk and chair. Extremely important for most people if they're using a mouse, even more so with arm aiming. It's like drawing art. Crazy, I know. Wish you showed a screenshot of your in-game sensitivity settings, as there's 3 different sensitivity settings. Your 360 distance is either 10.1 inches (I'm guessing) or 22.22 inches. "0.9 sens and 800 dpi" isn't enough info.
What's more important, jumping or crouching I have my left bumper as crouching instead of jumping because I thought it would be more useful for me in battles.
I'm the MAD Avocados526 I couldn't focus because I found out snipedown was in my game and immediately got emotional never played with one of my biggest inspirations think I went 2-21 🙃
What’s the best way to find your dead zone and sensitivity settings. I’m doing ok in game just feel like I can be doing better. I’m using a controller though.
Some Controller layout tips for people without an elite or scuf Controller. Bind your Shooting to RB instead of RT. What does this do? RB has almost instant trigger time. No need for a scuf controller. Bind your Crouch to LT. You get more control to your crouches while strafing. Finally, get some high stick caps. They cost 5$ and are more than worth it.
The oG Xbox controller was gangster like that. I got one sitting on my shelf like a old relic trophy 🏆 🤣🤣🤣....but this is hands down one of the best described and well spoken guides, coach, or tips whatever you want to call it.this is by far the best I've seen yet.big props to you my guy.your the real MVP or coach 😂😂..
As a pc player I do not agree with your opinion on the settings and the mouse weight. I played most of my pc career on a 85g mouse and some months ago I bought a 107g mouse and it feels to be lighter than the 85g mouse 'cause it has better mouse feet. Another thing I'd like to share is for the mouse sensitivity/dpi, since halo has only one decimal number it is very difficult to set the perfect sens so stick with 800dpi(?) is not a smart thing to do because once you are near to the perfect sense for you, you should play with your dpi if you can set the amount you want by the dedicated software, furthermore halo has the ultimate aim acceleration for the mouse since it is made as for the controller so you can have high and low sense all in one by setting it correctly. Last but not the least, having higher sensitivity or lower one is very related with the kind of grip you prefer and the mouse shape(e.g. if I finger grip the mouse I can't use 800 dpi and 0,5 sens 'cause it will be too slow), so the best suggestion for new m&k user is to try every kind of sens and grip and maybe to combine them all togethere, maybe going in the first store where you can try mice so that you can try them and choose the best shape that suite you the most. (I didn't mean to say that all you've said on m&k is wrong, I just disagree from your point of view and I wanted to give some more tips to other players)
Couch Mills here bringing you the second only aim guide you'll ever need this month. Does that make sense? No. Does it matter? No. Dont think too hard on it.
Honestly most modern shooters ive realise are set up to give keyboard/mouse users and advantage. More sensitive aiming and movement means its easier for a mouse to libe up a shot then a controller. Just wanted to pass that on
I feel like as bad to say as this is swat can really help you learn these things where your first shot is key. Don’t sprint around trying to slay play swat like you’re trying to learn how to be better just remember it’s swat so don’t hold onto all the habits just the ones you’re trying to practice like preshots and peeking and angles and shit like that. It will also help your cross hair placement because head level first shot equals a kill. It will not however help you to learn how to retreat and push or not push and generally learn how to be a better arena player so don’t play it too much. Also playing against bad kids is bad sure you feel like a god but you’re also terrible and it will ultimately give you false security and the play style is so much different. I’m not a pro by any means but I’ve been watching and playing halo since legit OG Xbox xbconnect H2 on live 3 reach 4 5 mcc. Went back to H2 on xbconnect after servers went down. I’ve been around the block and maybe I’m could be wrong but it works for me when I find myself over extending or chasing I play a swat and relearn patience
I still love my steelseries rival 700. I can change DPI with press of a button to adjust on distance. I have it vibrate and the mouse LCD keeps me from mistaking low for high sensitivity
@@Technicallyaddicted idk. It was my brothers before he passed. I don't know much about it i just like it. Video games are at the end of the day toys. Why does it matter what brand a person uses. I also have no idea what elite series 2 is i assume a mouse family.
There is a setting for zoom sensitivity just fyi. I like to try make it 1:1 with my regular aim but you can make yours much lower and remove the need to change the DPI
@@MetalAllDayAllNight thank you! I have it set to how i like it but want to change it up for my new monitor size and idr the program all that much so I'll make sure to double check this. I like the screen. I have a little thing of a cat running on it when out of games lol.
a question: all those professional players whose sensitivity is more or less between 4 and 6? Do they play with Control Freak on the controller, or do they use the controller with the original height of the right stick? thank you
I played the majority of time in infinte with these settings without control freak sticks. No problem. I got mine a few days ago and can say they are worth. You wont get an immediate improvement with them but it feels better.
@@threedog27thanks for your reply. actually i use them (kontrol freak) and my settings are around 4/8/8.5 , but i feel that my accuracy is not enough good, especially over short distances. But 4/6/6 was slow for me... Perhaps using pad without KF is the key
Trigger stops are probably one of the best purchases for my controller 💯 bought some bionik ones that also came with grips and totally changed the feel of the controller
Love how it is expressed the the top playes essentially need to use a controller for that "Aim Assist"! While I do not mind crossplay games (PC/Console) either have BOTH with or without Aim Assist, but not mixed. Controller users, in my opinion, who use Aim Assist should show their ranking with how many matches Aim Assist was used to get that kill in the game. For example, showing 2 KD's say like one for Aim Assisted shots, and one without. Show this and you will see that these "top players" use that assist more than you think! Thus, I am only in Ranked for KBM, and exclude controllers, then its FAIR!
There’s no competitive gameplay with aim assist, this is a feature for casual and single player games, want Halo to be a competitive game like CSGO or Valorant or Ápex? Take off this garbage, or dont call it a competitive game. And let be honest, there’s absolutely no audience for controller e-sports, every single audience for this type of game is microscopic in comparison with MnK games, shooters like CSGO, Valorant, Fortnite or even MOBAS like LoL and Dota, advocating for letting Halo maintain a controller base e-sport scene its just letting the game already little competitive chance to survive die, it’s pretty obvious, just open Twitch.
How can you take a guy seriously when he thinks the D pad is the left stick 😂 idc of you play PC or not that's just something everyone should know who's giving "tips"
How to win 1v1s in Halo Infinite, jump around sporadically, strafe and use the bad netcode to your advantage and frustrate your enemy until they rage quit or you kill them. This game is ass.
@@sododgy8338 I'm in Gold III actually, I placed in Gold 1 after my 10th ranked match. This game a so broken it's easier to get Gold than Bronze or Silver. Nice try though scrub lol.
@@Let_The_Foolish_Take_The_Lead I hope that was sarcasm. Calling a game bad and being a gold player. I couldn’t place into gold if I tried my hardest. If your doo doo just say that. I’ve never even seen someone place below platinum. I placed diamond and currently 1660 onyx.
