Original all the way! Social Media is becoming a bit repetitive, especially IG. I get that trends are popular, but I don't wanna see lots of posts, reels etc., with the same transitions, audios, message or idea. I think jumping on trends shows a lack of creativity & the lack of 'creation' certainly doesn't move the needle on the 'know, like, trust' gauge for me. I love that you share this opinion! 🥰 I completely agree that original content is the way to stand out and position yourself as a creative to watch. Of course, trends have their time and place and can be brilliant if used correctly (and sparingly 😉) but I’m tired of seeing the same recycled sounds in my Reels feed. I think there’s often a way to make a trend “your own” and have it fit the brand overall, but there’s a lot of repetitiveness on IG in general.
