Additions to this video i wish they mentioned: - horses aren't worth collecting until after chapter 3, don't waste your money yet - in regards to random encounters, you get WAY better drops/loot from everything when you are good moral. Don't forget in game content is drastically changed when you're a "good" outlaw as opposed to the later. - fast travel isn't necessarily a part of the game as is quickly traveling. Mind you this means you will miss out on the random encounters this video shared. Random encounters includes being allowed to buy any weapon you want from the gunsmith and also given pamphlets by random npcs. Exploring the world is how you get some of the best drops in the world (window rock) - this world rewards those who pay attention especially when it comes to dinosaur fossil hunting, rock carving hunting and dream catcher hunting. Hit your dead eye and look up, you may see a collectible in the trees. This is why quick travel isn't recommended and why it doesn't have the normal "fast travel" theme compared to other games. The developers want to you travel everywhere and explore everything, the game will reward you for the half hour journey if you take you time exploring while you journey.

I rode with my horse for half an hour just for a side quest and that felt like the whole game. There was so much to do and i was so immersed that i forgot where i was in real life. This game is fucking amazing, been waiting for this game since the 1st trailer and been hoping for it after the 1st game.

I just started chapter 2 and I can’t remember a game that felt more overwhelming lol. Maybe it’s the total lack of direction it gives you, regardless, I’m still loving it. 💯

Tips & Tricks is great, but after good thinking, you realize how much work was put in this game. From programming view, it's insane how every action, decision, animations and so on works non-stop...

I saw a lady trapped under a dead horse, so I stopped to help her out, and then took her home in Valentine. Mind you, I JUST started playing this game a day ago. So I helped her and then I went back to the camp, then went to search for one of the people who took money from Strauss. And I see a man struggling with his horse, so I stopped and said Hey, I'm gonna help this feller. The horse kicked the man and escaped so I decided to pursue the horse to return it to her owner, calmed her down and went back to the man... Who has already getting eaten by some vultures. And I got a new horse, a $150 horse that I didn't have to pay for. I decided that I'm not changing horses for the rest of the game, I feel like the horse chose me, and I'm going to honor her and the man by taking good care of her.

I just got this game and I love it. So far I learned that it's hard to be an outlaw and a hardworking cowboy. They made it allot hardier in the second game then the first game, but I really like how this game makes it what it really feels like to be an outlaw cowboy.

So so close to release.. can not wait for this beautiful game

Fast travel CAN work both ways. You just have to set up a camp out of town.

8:48 - I bought the recipe for poison arrows from some guy rather than the method shown here. There's so many layers to this game, it's been an amazing experience so far. Not had this much fun in an open world since Witcher 3!

Great video, just like the game taking your time and looking at details adds real value.

As gorgeous and immersive this game is it can quickly become overwhelming. The in game tutorial is average at best, leaving you often times confused about how and when to do certain things.

The game felt both sluggish and frustrating for the first couple of hours as I went through the tutorial. There were times where failing a mission by death royally screws you over by randomly dumping you close to the mission's target area but forces you to ride aaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way back to camp to start the mission again. I felt there were times at the start that didn't feel intuitive to me such as the 3 categories of "things needed" at the camp such as ammunition. Because I could donate meat to help one of the icons, I thought donating ammunition and healing tonics would help the other two. That is not the case. There are also the random bandit attacks. If you aren't VERY quick to initiate Dead Eye, you are going to die. I don't care how fast you are, when the bandits randomly come out of absolute nowhere, you are going to die in less than 3-4 seconds. It's been frustrating to be completely caught off guard by them and lose a lot of work. There is nothing informing you how VASTLY important it is to get the Improved Campfire so you can save anywhere. I feel I have to obsessively save constantly in fear of the random bandit attacks that obliterate you in a heartbeat. I also don't like how whenever you are alone in the middle of nowhere with a stranger passing which you rob how suddenly there is ALWAYS a witness that spawns nearby to witness BUT is considerably far down the road to draw a bead on it. Then as you are chasing him, somehow he magically reports the robbery even though he's NO WHERE NEAR A SHERIFF.

You can just get your horse back if seperated (and assuming its still alive) by going to any stable and using the option to reclaim it.Also, L1 puts away your gun, but if you double tap it when holding the revolver, you twirl it first.

You can fast travel from a camp in the wilderness also, after you have upgraded Arthur's tent. And my horse is always waiting for me when I get off the train or stagecoach (I hitch him up before getting on the train and whistle for him before getting in the coach. And my horse is had a least a second level bond). (Maybe those are patches.)

You can fast-travel from your set-up campfire as well, meaning that you *can* fast travel back to the gang-camp. (May require upgrading the campfire possibly but I don't even remember doing it and I'm just at chapter 2 so it must have been cheap/easy to do). Possibly also requires the upgraded lodgings for Dutch and Arthur of course.

In real life arabian horses are 190k to 700k depending on breed and coat color. I have seen a spotted 2 tone red go for 2.8 million. Btw a mustang is far faster...yes the horse, not the car....lol
