Started few months back again I see how much things Ive missed it, in 2018 I did see houses getting made in later years but other stuff so roaming more n duin side missions atm ❤
I watched a video a few days ago where the player, as Arthur, climbs all over mountains with no mission, so hes not looking for anything in particular, then he sits on the edge of a clifftop and gets some great views. .
Just recently returned as John to the Braithwaite Manor and while walking through the burnt out mansion, I came across the burnt body of Catherine Braithwaite and was able to loot it for a brooch. After that, the body disappeared. Still haven't found Gertrude though.
You can also loot the body while still being arthur But if i remember it right than there would also still be guards around who atacked me when i left the remains of the mansion
@@Private.Willie.Stroker yeah, as Arthur, I high-tailed it out of there and never went back. Just happened to go to go back seeing a video about the Braithwaite’s secret. So I went as John to see if I could find Gertrude.
You can finish railway in chapter two, not in 1907. There are two hidden missions with workers camp supervisor. One is to catch who steals workers wages and second to remove Cornwall blockade. After that railway can be finished before chapter three.
there is also third mission when brygadist offers you food from the camp but I don't know if this is considered a mission (sorry my english is not my first language)
@@adam_minionek Yeah, I know that, but that is not a mission or anything, just a chance to pick some minor, useless stuff like food or trinkets. And english is not my first language, too. :)
@@brianpayne8931 Corwall brickade?? :) Well, the second mission when you go to supervisor is to move tree Cornwall men who does not allow workers to work "on their land". And when you do that and take the ledger, railroad will be finished in a few days. And still in Act two. :)
Argh crap, I killed all the workers, so THAT is why it's empty now, I'm in chapter 6, killed them in chapter 3, it's my first playthrough, so I didn't realise, but apparently it will never be finished now xD
You forgot the one house near Valentine that ist build by a Man with his two sons. It's an optional sidequest. First you help them out with some bandits. Later the Man has trouble to finish the house and asks you for either money or wood. If you choose to help him out with the wood, you have to go west into the forest (also mentioned in this video) to help the workers there. After a few more sidequests you can deliver the wood to the man and he thanks you for it. When the House is finally finished it will be sold. But the Man leaves you a nice share of the profit.
i killed the bandits, but let the dad get killed by them first because he was mean to his sons, now the dad is hostile to me when ever i pull up lmao no money this go around.
All i remember was the dad getting mad at me for some reason early in the game and I never noticed them again. Might’ve been so early when I occasionally hit the wrong button and pulled out guns on people. Once shot the butcher in strawberry by accident.
the one with Arthur donating to the church is actually sad but so heartwarming. it just makes me happy seeing Arthur being put in good light like that and knowing that he died and seeing his name there is just a good feeling. I dont know how to explain it but its so nice seeing his name on that thing
i remember being sent to Pronghorn Ranch in the epilogue in my first play through, and just going, "Pronghorn ranch?!! Where the eff is that?!! I know this map like the back of my hand, there is NO Pronghorn ranch!!" And then following the quest markers and going, "OMG!" So unexpected, genius :)
@@numbers9696 or do you mean the prologue at the very beginning of the game? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p3rPnsZ-lD8.html Really this xXSilentAgent47Xx seems to have the goods.
the game is beautiful but also the game has flaws. for example how tedious the animations are. it makes gameplay feel very slow. the game has too many animations. maybe there is a mod out there that disables most animations or speeds them up so the flow of the game isn't so damn tedious.
I think the railroad is definitely the most impressive one, because you can really see the eveloution. You can interact with the people, just like at the timber company. But i like the pronghorn ranch the most, and i like that ist odd that it just showed up.
8:30 You said that blackwater is home to a variety of wealth and ethnicity and is the largest and most modern town in RDR2 being the have gas street lights. I guess you never made it all the way to Saint Denis, they literally have electricity and more ethnicity then every RDR2 town
But I would say it in this way that BW got a stone road and we know these roads are used for cars in RDR the sidewalks in BW are better and more modern 8:35 with granite like stones placed on the edges smaller rocks separating the long stones and the main tiles
3:53 is probably 1 of the best missions, same goes for where they all ride towards the Braithwaite manor... There's just something so nice and beautiful to seeing all the npcs ride their own horses next each other.., especially if you think back at older R☆ games where everyone would just had to go into 1 car..
I just loved the Saint Denis bank mission, I couldn't help but cry after Hosea and Lenny were killed... also I thought Charles was killed in his heroic action. Those were actually my top3 favourite characters in the game
If you play Red Dead ONLINE, you'll see just under Arthurs name is Mr & Mrs. J. LeClerk. AKA Jessica LeClerk who we work for in helping avenge her husbands murder in RDO. In case no one has ever noticed that :D
also houses/land for sale pop up on the map, such as the one due east of Emerald station (cant remember the other one). I was all open field and some trees before (and place for lots of herbs, squirrels and turkeys ) and now a house with a fence around it
Never knew Pronghorn ranch was only available in the epilogue, that's pretty cool! Though in 8 years, they built all of that is pretty crazy in my opinion.
Thank you for this. These are some of my favorite details about this game. There are many more than just the ones you listed, but some are minor (like all of the new houses for sale that have been built all over the place). As a bonus, I'd love to see a comparison from Red Dead Online, since it takes place before Arthur's story. A few things I remember being different are that one building in Valentine that is under construction during the story isn't even being built yet in online, as well as being able to visit the Adler ranch before it's burned down. I know there are several more I am forgetting. And as an even bigger bonus, comparisons from the epilogue to RDR1 (and its epilogue too). Of course, that would be a rather massive project.
I think the evolving map is the biggest thing Rockstar has to do for GTA 6. And who knows, perhaps they could pull off dynamic prices depending on what you do in the story/open world or perhaps even influenced by stocks if that's gonna be a mechanic again; Or even a dynamic map (if you break a street lamp, a vehicle will show up along with people installing a new street lamp later and the lamp will be gone until you trigger that spawn and either leave the area or watch the fixing unfold)
Regarding the deforestation, if you finish the appleseed company side mission questline alongside the dude that is building a house with his sons near valentine, when you return to their camp after the woods delivery you'll find only cut chumps. And a vast area without forrest.
“The biggest and most modern town in red dead 2” 💀 bro forgot about Saint Denis Edit: I tried visiting pronghorn In online but it was just deadwood forests
He made several errors on this video. He said RDR1 was when a mission that Beachers hope was built. Wrong. He also failed to point out there is a few private homes for sale in the epilouge that were not there in the first 6 chapters. You can actully walk inside them. Once you go on to the property the names of them appear on the map.
Rockstar learned a lot from RDR 2 . They gonna implement many things in GTA 6 like improved physics. Lighting. Textures and most important evolving map.
@@wlrakosThey need to update online more frequently. It's getting new stuff this month but they could milk RDO for longer than GTAV online if they update it enough.
We were supposed to be able to go to blackwater as Arthur, (at the player’s own risk), but this was cut from the game, making going to blackwater even more complicated, and a lot of stuff made for this (like lines of the sheriff recognizing Arthur) was cut from the game but still present in the files
Every now and then I read the most amazing book, watch an incredible movie, and of course play a perfect game and afterwards I wish that there was an amnesia pill I could take so that I could experience those things like it was the first time. RDR2 is that game for me.!
What’s even better is that some of these changes happen even before the epilogue. All the trees get cut down at Appleseed and the house’s foundation is built during your time as Arthur.
They are all awesome. Probably the houses because they are most noticeable but what really blows me away is the areas where whole areas were cleared out due to companies needing wood. The level of detail in the game is crazy.
Pronghorn ranch always tripped me out because like you said it was completely empty so always tried to compare by loading back into 1899 I love that area
I actually only noticed Blackwater. And remeber Blackwater from RDR1 also. It's wild the details they put in to this game. And the story is trully amazing! But it's really sad, that the ending of RDR2 seems like an happy ending, expect if you played or know the story of RDR1 😢 I just finished RDR2 yesterday, and I'm still traumatized.
Meanwhile in GTA 5 that dang tower is still under construction to this day. I had always assumed that they would advance its construction with time in the game, or with content updates, and wondered what it would eventually be. Little did I know, there would be no content updates in single player, and it's still just unfinished. They at least could have turned it into condos to milk more money out of GTA Online players.
Only saying this because it’s new to me on my current “100%” play through. I’m at 93.7% in my first play though and when I started looking for everything I realized that I missed sooooo much of the game my first time(mostly camp interactions). Anyway, you don’t have to wait until the epilogue for the lumber camp one by Micah’s hideout. I just stopped by in Chapter 4 and the lumberjacks all up and left(left a nice wagon too) and it did a cinematic camera pan around the area. I also found a wagon and a dead guy with a picture of his wife. Assuming he lived at the top of that hill with all the packages on the porch.
Then, there's the guy and his sons building a house near Valentine. You can help him clear out some O'Driscoll's, then later, he'll ask you to either get timber or give him money to complete it. Later on, he'll pay you back with interest and still later, you'll see that he sold it and someone else is living there.
Heres a way i found on how to soft lock your game (can be done on all devices) Step one : do NOT START the first leopold strauss mission (the one with mr wrobel) Step two : go into the cheat code menu and do the cheat code “Share” Step three: activate the cheat code (this should unlock everything in the ledger) Step four : do the first leopold strauss mission and complete it (when you go to donate the money and use the ledger) Step five : donate the money and open the ledger Step six : congrats, you softlocked your game and must restart the game.
I bought RDR2 a week ago and played it a bit over the days now I finished the game and I can tell you that I cried for the first time in a long time because of Arthur's death
5:33 Quick Correction 1899 and a mistake following this was: John didn’t build their Ranch in RDR1 but instead in RDR2. However we all make Mistakes so..
The events of Red Dead Online take place in 1898 and that's what Beecher's Hope looks like. Also, they didn't say the ranch was built during RDR1. They said "*IF* you played RDR1, you'll remember this house, and in the epilogue of RDR2, you get to actually build it." However, we all make mistakes so...
I would argue that the oil fields should have been up and running again. If there's money to be made people will work to make it even if its on the bones of the dead.
@@hibbity_hooblah Yes? they totally abandoned the online portion of the game. They could've done so much with it, but they decided to keep pooping out more crappy GTA dlc.
@@Sharpie_17 the online portion is a small part of it. You phrased your statement in a way that the whole game had potential. The story mode without a doubt makes it one of the best games ever
The other building I was curious about was in Annesburg. There is a building near the edge of the city being built. I assume it’s just another house you can’t enter tho.
There’s a house being built just outside valentine just west of it but if u kill all the ppl there it don’t get finished cos I have been past it many times and no one is around
You forgot the father and his two sons which you encounter... borrow a 100 dollars and when the house is finished get payed back 150 dollars with interest :)
