I've experienced plenty camping way outside of civilization and by rivers. Over the years. There is no reason for me to lie about encounters too people I've never met or will meet. I do wish I had proof.

To me nothing looks creepier than a tree dressed in Spanish moss drooping and draping everywhere. Well, that and the the spindly twiggy bare trees of Winter. They just spell doom and death to me.
