Love watching any of these videos that Jules is hosting from What Culture to FGS. The best host on any digital platform right now, witty, engaging, entertaining & just makes the audience actually feel welcome & appreciated.
I had a "This CANNOT be real" reaction to the upcoming game Squirrel With A Gun. It looks so ludicrous and absurd in the best way possible. I thought it was a joke when my friend sent me the trailer and was overjoyed to find out it is real and available to wish list on Steam
I just wish they weren’t going the secret agent angle. I’ve been following it since it was about wreaking havoc as a disarmingly cute squirrel with arms, with no real goal in mind besides ruin the days of everyone around you.
2:33 - Wanderer (given the title, particularly) doesn't exactly _refute_ the idea that VR games are all just shooters and walking sims. It just adds a fourth dimension to the walking. (Which ain't nothing, but it doesn't make it NOT a [time-]walking sim.)
I'm Christian, my brother's agnostic, he asked me if I'd seen footage of "I Am Jesus Christ," I told him "I did and... I have no faith in it." Ba-dum-tiss 😂
Idk how I feel about the strategy stuff yet, but Kingmakers looks like a gamers game. A game that just wants to be fun and fantasy and have fun with itself and not be too serious.
Carnage system from Starship Troopers would have been something Doom 2016 & Eternal desperately needed. One of the greatest things about the original games (Ultimate Doom to Doom64) was the ever present carnage left behind as you progressed through each level.
Rome: Total War is a favorite game of mine. I always wondered what sieges would be like, going up against machine gun nests with siege weapons and towers. Or to have something like Kingmakers but takes place in Rome’s peak. Caesarmakers they could call it
Interesting list! To be honest it's been a while since I've been extremely impressed with how things have been done in Crimson Desert. Sand certainly looks like something fun to try out!
Honestly if you dip into the old testament, Jesus has more powers than pre-crisis Superman. Ironic then, that his game looks about on the level of Superman 64
Kingmakers is by the same devs as Road Redemption, the Road Rash sequel that we didn’t deserve, given the awful things humanity has done prior. For a game so anarchic, so ridiculous to even exist, we must’ve redeemed ourselves last minute, only for fate to decide we deserve Kingmakers too.
Number one reminded me of Brutal Legend gameplay in a way. 3rd person action with rts element to boot? I’m way down, hope it comes out on console cuz my PC blew up 😭
Most of these strike me as games to be optimistic about but get too excited. I'd love for them to pan out but the industry has taught us time and time again to not believe trailers and don't fall for hype.
I can tell Jules didn't read much of the Bible. Jesus is indeed Iron Man. On a serious note, I have a feeling the graphics and gameplay could be great and Jules would still have an issue with the game.
