So happy this little man pulled this card and not some person who always pulls huge cards. This will set him up for his education and be comfortable and not struggle right off the bat when he's an adult.
i thought it was the triple auto 1/1, there's so many of these same cards that's 1 of 1... Give us the good news when someone finds the triple auto everyone is waiting for!!
It’s not a pack of cards. Topps now is a specific print of (1) card. They print them to order based on whatever event just occurred. The cards are $10. They are worth nothing. But they do limited inserts of numbered versions. He bought 5 of the same card and got lucky. You don’t have to be “rich” tf.
@@frmacst108My buddy and I bought 5 of the 50/50 shoheis. They are already worth double and haven’t been printed yet. The Jackson Holliday grand slam card is really cool, that’s sky high in value. The last I checked. Don’t sleep on topps now.
I’m not in a rich family. I’m a middle class one. But I’ve pulled a better card. 2020, 2/17 cut signature of Mickey Mantle. And I saw one go up for 2,500+ dollars.
@@horizonfanno it’s not 😂 people were trying to get the 1 of 1 with the 3 autos on it. This one is probably worth 25k at best. Definitely still a ton of money, but not even close to 100k like they mentioned in the video. The one with the autos is the one people were pre bidding on at 500,000.
If it walk like a duck 🦆, swim like a duck , quack like a duck , it’s a damn duck . Don’t tell me it’s not a duck . Opening packs is same as gambling. Manufacturers made it like it’s gambling. Insert numbered cards and have RU-vid influencers make up the value for those cards
@@sting114 I know what you mean and it was rad when a cards price was determined by how bad the fans wanted it. It’s all good and don’t wanna spoil the party but I still feel basketball cards should be fun and a hobby, not a main source of income unless you open a shop or produce the product
The holy grail one is still out there, the one with their autos, goldin already said they would pay 300k just to have it in a auction through them. This card aint it.
Why everbody so salty about how much money they have lmao?? Kid is just trying to collect cards, it aint about the money. It is about the memories and fun you having doing it.
I been getting suggested videos... They have newer packs that come in a brief case for $15,000-$20,000, 5-7 cards... Crazy! It's not uncommon to see the 15-20 year old Pokémon packs (that you seen in Wlamart) now selling for $100-$500 a pack, depending) Then you have some newer football packs, 2020-2021's for $4000-5000 for a few cards! It's nuts! I took my nephew to a Sportscard show a few years ago and was shocked to see active players have cards selling for $8000-$40,000... LeMelo Ball who isn't even a star had cards selling for $40k. Crazy! Somebody is gonna be caught holding the bag.
They decided to sell it at Goldin auctions is what I heard. They turned down a lowball offer of $25,000 from Sports Cards Investor. I don't think it will hit $10,000 but maybe like $60,000. The one of one auto triple auto will hit a mil for sure.
Probably 100k+ lots. It is 1/1 exist, pulling the 1/1 or 1/10 very difficult for sport collector and TCG pristine collector. The word pristine for grading, it is very rare to get perfect 10 grade item.
They declined a front up offer for $25K cash. They will instead have it up for auction. Interesting to see how much it will end and to see if the gamble pays off. Maybe the person who offered $25K puts a bid.
25k is way to low good thing he didnt take it. considering the 1/1 triple auto has a bounty for 1m its safe to say this should sell for 100k without a doubt
@@marcoe1722 if someone buys this card theres in my eyes a 0% chance its for investment or resale purposes. maybe but i feel that whoever gets the top bid on this card is going to lock it up for long time
@@orionalexander2918 yep, that lasted a whole 3 days unfortunately… If you follow up on the story, you can see they’re already auctioning it off and hoping it sells for 250,000.
This is wholesome. Amazing pickup for this kid!!! I wish they didn't sell though. Just grade and hold. Will be worth many hundreds of thousands or millions in several years.
You can tell in the comments who is petty when they say " he's already rich". First off, so what? Good for them. And second, the parents are rich not him. I'm sure they will put it aside for him in a passive investment and he will be off to a good start in life financially. Isn't that a good thing for him? Of course the irony is people that don't like people just bc they have money, are the same ones who buy lottery tickets. Why can't we ever see anything positive when something good happens to someone?
Id hold out for their retirement at least. Might be 7 figures by then. Ain't going to go down. And everything above 50 bucks is profit anyway. From the looks of the house it don't look like you need it now anyways
Yea that’s what I thought too…..if the 2nd package was sent by mistake and not paid for, I could see Topps getting involved….? Still awesome that little man pulled the card, spend a little and save the rest for his future plans.
@@greentree6373its part of the chase...you buy the regular cards for $10 a piece and you have a chance to get parallels of the card like this 1/1 gold version or the 1/1 autograph version. More than 50k of the regular version has been sold and if you are extremely lucky you get one of these special parallel or the grand prize 1/1 auto.
No way no how $100k not happening. When they were still way high, and mean high, Wander Franco (before he got in trouble) Topps 1/1 super fractor rookie PSA graded 8 went for I think $68,000. This is a Topps Now card....Nobody cares about Topps Now, and it's not graded. It will go higher than it should but I don't see $100,000.
There are already companies like goldin auctions and sports card investor that have been open to paying over $150,000. Goldin auctions offered to give him $100,000 as a front and then everything after that from the auction.
@@Pigman-oi2zz Then he should take it!...All three of these guys are old and no cares about the Olympics. Topps Now is a garbage line they sell, not to mention Topps is a baseball line. Topps might get it in 2026. This isn't a Panini Nation treasure hit. This is probably the best card in the Topps Now line, but doubtful to even come close to 6 figure value. Besides who told you he got offered that much for that card? I would love to know.
@@basii830 I just looked on Ebay. The #26 regular card has sold on average for about 7 bucks. I looked on the world wide net and didn't see the sale. You should post the link on here because I don't believe it. And if it did, it isn't worth it.
The more fortunate keep winning as the rest get nothing. All that extra money to spend on cards as others are struggling to make ends meet , then they get handed a 100k card , life is crazy!
This is the crazy stuff that ruins the hobby yes its a 1 of 1 but to have LBJ, KD and Curry on card aint anything rare so who ever thinks this is worth 100 K is high!!!!!!!!
