No you're completely wrong buddy. The briefcase you opened is the dud half of the case, not the case hits. I've opened and joined numerous breaks of Flawless. Relic cards and that Goff patch auto are definitely not the case hits. Pretty sure the other briefcase will have a Herbie/Burrow/Hurts/Love RPA or at least an auto (I myself was lucky enough to hit a Herbie RPA). You picked the wrong one to open

Reacting to rhe comment it's so said (believed to be a typo and meant to say so sad) that people only remember him foe hurting a QB......... it should be noted for those that may recall that event and think of him as a bad guy you need to be reminded or shown in the clip that immediatly after the play within 2 seconds he is wildly motioning to the Washington sideline to get their medical personnel out onto the field now. Bad guy? Hell No he was one of the best players and ambassadors for the NFL during his time. It was a freak accident that ended Thiesmann's career. However , that is football and a majority of those that play at this level understand the risk.

I think I’ll just quit my favorite hobby bc it’s so expensive now thanks to people like this. I’m so happy their happy tho. As long as I’m not happy makes them happy. I’m so glad also that panini makes cards in general that are so expensive that only people like this can afford. It’s so nice that most of the country is broke and can’t afford cards like this. Not giving recognition to many of these players was painful to watch, but at the end of the day, the kid seemed to enjoy himself. To me, that’s the most important part. $8,000 a box? Privilege at its absolute finest. I wouldn't worry about college; something tells me the kid will be fine. I'd rather watch a family open a regular hobby box or something and pull all their favorite players and be excited and grateful for that. I might relax by listening to the 1st King 810 album after this. These dudes seem like the type of people who would roll up a $100 bill in front of a homeless family and light it on fire and smoke it.

As a Brit, I have no idea what any of these cards are, but it's given me an idea. Collectable cards representing the various tea brands - obviously Yorkshire Tea will be your signed 1st class option which'll send your kids to college, PG Tips 2nd best where you could sell for a nice second hand Tesla Model 3. Typhoo tea will be somewhere down the bottom representing the little league teams, tradeable for a Fredo or other item of similar value. :)

6:58 some advice for new card collectors your hands and fingers are covered in natural oil (even after you wash them) so do yourself a favor and always ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES when handling any card. You have no idea when a card’s value will increase so do yourself a favor and don’t be like this guy.

The relic cards are nice but you are looking for the RPAs for the big money and the 1/1s. You got neither. I think the biggest $$ card was Jefferson, followed by the triple QB relic, followed by the Hurts followed by the Burrow. But again the lack of Rookie QB autos was disappointing. I would guess about a $5K loss opening that case.

This is the problem with sports cards today. Only the wealthy can afford the best. We need to get back to the lottery of the past, where you could be a average person and find a expensive gem. I’m 46 and you could collect greats from the 30’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Just by buying a $3 pack. That being said this is awesome

This video definitely rubs me the wrong way. 7:40 "Hopefully we can make some money/make this money back" -- If you go into the hobby with this mindset you will be disappointed 99% of the time. Thats not what it is about, sure its awesome when it happens but its about the fun, the memories, the fun, etc.

Teaching the kid that they should get their money back right away is the wrong way to collect. Yes you want to make money on them but the idea of collecting shouldn’t be to just make money. It’s to make memories and have fun. Collect and get excited but not for how much money you can make

Still prefer my childhood 5 cent packs with Jim Brown, YA Tittle, Bobby Lane, etc. These types of cards would take all the fun out of it. Clearly not for collecting but for investor. A bit obscene really.

This dudes advice to just sell the other box to get back the $8,000 is so dumb. If the had left it sealed and stored it safely until now they could have gotten $15k+ for it. Pretty damn solid investment!
