In 1 and a half year I made 80.000km and this is my experience. I resumed it in 5 pro's and 5 con's. In the end the driving experience that it offers and the quality/price ratio wins on everything
So you would prefer a 3L diesel engine on one of these beauties? Come on mate, this isn't a boring Audi Q5, this is a Stelvio. A heavy diesel (why the hell would you want a diesel in this car?) engine would only make the car nose-heavy. What's wrong with the 2.0L gasoline engine? It has 280hp which is plenty enough! I've driven it and I think it suits the car perfectly.
I've kept the 280hp for 1000kms and it is good. But I was doing 9km/l while having the same pace with the diesel I keep 12.5km/l more ore less. And in Italy petrol is 10/15% more expensive, so if you sum everything up, and I do 70k kmper year, there is a good difference. This is ehy I'd like 260/270hp with a 3L diesel
I can speak of reliability because mine now has 150k km and nothing serous happened. Also, I had some very good ecperiences in very bad roads. So personally I think it values each euro you spen to buy it. Obviously there are some better cars, but you pay more for them
@@ste.fiorav I have a 2011 Volvo V60 D5, I have 200k miles and it's been brilliant, I didn't have the heart to sell it because it has been a great car, but it's time move on!!
I've owned many makes of vehicles and really I've never made use of every piece of tech in any car, u just use the basic eventually and u only use the fancy stuff when you show it off to friends
yes, but I don't like having a very small screen with a very wide black position for the screen where they could have easily put a bigger one, for example. Then the Android auto then works very bad... They should just work a bit more on that. I don't want stupid things that I will never use, I just whant nice things that can be easily used
@@galawanjiyoussefradu5505 The 280hp petrol engine can reach 15l/100Km easily with daily heavy traffic. With light traffic, still city driving you can drop closer to 10 or 11l/100Km. This in 'normal' driving mode. Outside city we can drop for 8l or 9l/100 depending on the average speed. We can also lower these values using 'Advanced Efficiency' driving mode. The Stelvio shouldn't be the first pick for those who have fuel consumption as high priority, unless perhaps you live in the US. For me, fuel consumption is a price I'm more than willing to pay for the chance to drive one of the last petrol head gems from Alfa Romeo and get a permanent smile in my face every single day (for the past two years). 😎
Having owned a Stelvio Q (65.000km) for three years now after having traded in an AMG for that ...... I agree with you about your comments about the infotainment system but ....in what universe you think an 'AMG' or 'RS' are better (driving) cars (i.e. SUV's) than the Stelvio Q ???? 10:05
Hi Alex, well I've also tried quite a lot of cars (also if I didn't have the possibility to make a video of them all) and what I was trying to explain is that the fact that you can't take away completelly the traction control and the lack of power is a big difference. I would have liked a good 3litre with 280/300hp
@@ste.fiorav We have already a Stelvio with 280hp, it's the Veloce with the petrol engine. ...still can't switch off the traction control, but not a show stopper for me. Diesel has no future. Actually, we're approaching the end of life for IC engines.
Not many, only normal maintainance, no extras. Sometimes the motor light comes up, but I know it's just for the filter so there are no problems and it will switch off sooner or later
@@ste.fiorav that’s great sounding, thanks for the reply by the way. I’ve been heavily considering this car but couldn’t find any numbers on upkeep costs. Great to know it’s more or less normal, I assume for its price bracket at least.
@@ste.fiorav Che motorizzazione hai?
