Fears are ok because it helps us growing as long as we can come over them. I like this hitching sensation in my tomy when I can supperate a fear I had. And then I think about all what passed by my mind while I was doing it. Sometimes I even make fun of myself! Have a great new year my friend

Have you ever done a video on the negatives/risks of using HRT the rest of your life? Like, doors it impact bone density too the negative, does it increase your hunger drive, does it make you feel emotionally dull or, maybe worse, does it make anger feel even more angry, does it increase your risk for cardiac disease (like heart disease is the number 1 killer of women, and men have heart attacks, sooo doors it double the threat?? Can the voice change permanently damage your vocal chords? For you older yransmen who may have started T during or after menopause, what are THOSE risks now? Are they any different than if you were say, in your tsenties? I'd just like to hear about these kinds of things not for "scary" reasons, but just to have that more full snapshot of "even with this risks I feel better, but here are the risks long term of x, y, z..". It seems like some are afraid to talk about it, as if it's like,"No just say how great it all is!" 😂
I have not done that video. I have not yet experienced the negatives most commonly listed as potential dangers. Many of the concerns are standard concerns for male individuals-- and some of them are tied to some commonly beliefs (high cholesterol leads to heart disease) that may not be as accurate as we once thought (www.mtpr.org/post/sugar-vs-cholesterol-john-yudkin-vs-ancel-keys). There is very little tangible, real-life research done on Trans Health specific to HRT to date, so it's very much a leap of faith for many of us. And in terms of those of us starting later in life, even less information. At this point in my life, I am far more concerned with the effects of the standard American diet than HRT.

Based on your answer, every trans person should be funded or get their health care for free because you're essentially saying the data from your bodies is going to be foundational to sciences in the future. I didn't know the known risks are based mainly on male bodies. And of course the risks for transfolk are worth it for them. My apologies if it might have felt like I was implying they shouldn't be.
